Clean and organized with everything one needs for any project. Best of all the staff actually reached out to help instead of having to be tracked down. Makes for a faster and happier trip out to get what one needs to get the job done...without the visit becoming an extra chore. Great place to shop!

Great Customer service

General management philosophy must be customer satisfaction and management must stress that with who they hire and how they coach the sales people. Especially good are: Bill in hardware, Boris in electrical, Shawn in plumbing, and Logan in Doors and windows. I also feel they have made improvements in stocking levels over the last few years. Overall, a great place to shop.

They really embrace great customer service. We will not go any where else for our Home Improvement needs. Every encounter from 1st greet at the door to the help in the aisles to the paint center and the friendly cashiers to Ed the manager we have always left there a satisfied customer.

Home Depot location on Derry Street has very knowlegable and helpful employees. They got me in and out and gave me the expertise I was looking for.

This is the store we use almost exclusively. The atmosphere of the store is good because of the pleasant, helpful staff, and items are easy to find.

As long as I live in Harrisburg, this Home Depot will always be my home improvement store of choice. I am a very frequent visitor, at least 3-4 times a week. My relationships with the people are what keep me coming back. Danny, Stacie, and Wanda at the pro desk really make it such a great, personable experience every time I'm in the store. I always have pleasant interactions with the other store associates as well. When I go to Home Depot, its usually just me, getting supplies for work (I'm a 25 year old female) and most of the time its a lot of stuff, and some of it heavy. No matter what I get, Joe is always there to help me load up the van and get everything tied down. He is one of the hardest working people I have ever met. I had lost a gift card in the store, for work no less, and was frantically searching around. I went to the customer service desk to see if they could page the store to let the other customers know that if they found it, to please turn it in. While I was there, the Assistant Store Manager, Ed, who wasn't even on the clock at the time, saw my frustration and walked the entire store with me, retracing my steps. When there was no sign of the card, he and Birdie calmed me down and they made me feel like I was taken care of. They got my name and number and Ed told me he was going to do what he could and he went back to his office. I got 2 calls that night, one from Ed and one from Birdie, keeping me updated as to the progress of cancelling the card. I then got 2 more calls in the morning once the card was for sure cancelled. The next day I got a call from Lisa to get my information to re-issue the card. I have never felt more appreciated as a customer, and more taken care of. I love this Home Depot and the people who work here.

Derry street store is WAY more personal & friendly than Mechanicsburg. The women at customer serbice in Mechanicsburg are RUDE....ALL the people at Derry street are helpful, personal & nice....

What a great group of associates at this store. I observed one associate who was bilingual helping a customer with a language barrier. Another associate gave me some valuable advice that saved me $40 and a lot of aggravation with my sink drain and a third recognized and got me “on the right track” with my Veterans discount! What a great experience at this store! Thank You #4113! You guys are all that!

Home Depot is my store . I always find friendly assistance if I cannot find an item myself .The store is always clean which also makes it a pleasure to shop at . Seldom , if at all do I have to go elsewhere to find what I am looking for . They get 5 stars from me .

This is the go to HD store for Home Improvement in the Harrisburg area. Ask for Ed + Scott B they provide exceptional customer service. 5star+

had a great experience purchasing a grill. The clerk explained the differences in the brand I wanted to purchase, made sure it was in stock and indicated they would put the grill together for me.

Employees are always available to help and friendly while they do it. They match prices if items are not in stock or on sale at other places. Store is clean and bathrooms are clean.

The store was great! Clean organized and full of associates. There was only one employee that smiled, said hello and was willing to help. Trust me the rest were not busy. I was in the store for 45 mins I spent almost 300.00. I went to many departments. Rose was the only person who was willing to help. She was stocking shelves when she saw I needed help. I saw many walking around trying to look busy.
