Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, CFLs, and lead acid batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used in composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.

Does The Home Depot have a sale on bathroom items?
Our bath sale runs from January 2nd through February 19th, and it covers so many items that you could also call it a vanity sale or a toilet sale. Remember to replace your bathtubs, showers, and bathroom mirrors to match. You can make the process even easier when you contact our pros for toilet installation or vanity installation — then all you have to do is appreciate your beautiful new bathroom.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When searching generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
How can I prepare my home for the winter?
Make sure your home is ready for colder weather by replacing any faulty or broken parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be in for major repairs down the line. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roof panels for damage or rust that could let water leak in. Clean gutters to prevent ice dams. Check cinder block and brickwork for cracks, and verify indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, replace chimney caps and vinyl siding if they're in poor condition.
Why should I get a doorbell camera?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window or peephole when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
