What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
The adjusted hours give stores the ability to staff appropriately and provide additional time to restock shelves and perform cleaning. As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

Been here many times. Good store, well-stocked. Staff members have always been great when I needed help, and they're usually a little easier to find at this particular location (easier -- not necessarily easy. Ha! But I don't hold that against them.) Overall a good Home Depot -- I'll be back.

I live very close to this store so by default most of my purchasing is coming from here. I recently purchased a home in the area and have been going twice a week for the last three months. Customer service is lacking. I have three anecdotes to share regarding their service. - Their management team is strangely absent, I've looked around for a manager and tend to find a man named Art, when I asked he cut a piece of dry wall for me so that it would fit into my car he looked generally disgruntled. He proceeded to butcher the cut and then his co-worker mentioned giving me a discount as is customary of 10% but he laughed it off and said I could still use it that way. - I have waited to get a package down from their upper shelves for over 40 minutes. I needed a package of insulation and needed to approach 2 different workers and both were very nice and called for the guys trained on the machine that reaches higher level. My complaint is on those that work those machines. They came 40 minutes later, and saw us waiting. They then proceeded to talk to three coworkers leaving the staff lounge, asked for a popsicle, flirted with a co-worker, and then got down the insulation. They didn't apologize for the wait or acknowledge us in the whole process. - Another time I was clearly in need of help next to the flashing for windows towards middle of store. They have a small counter there and five employees where sitting around the counter. They were audibly talking about their different departments (only once of which worked in the department they were currently standing in). When I approached them to ask a question about flashing, they looked at each other to see who would take it. One guy pointed at the other and said "you work here" and that guy finally answered me. Very disappointing to see how much of a trial it is to do some customer service. - Finally the situation with their lines is appalling. One women is constantly yelling at everyone about the lines. You have 30 grown adults in a line, if its so confusing that we can't figure it out, then the problem is probably with the lines system.

First let’s just say Abel is very helpful and friendly!! He provides the best customer service and is very knowledgeable in what he sells and all products in the store. He is able to answer all my questions and concerns I might have for products. All purchases I’ve made with his assistance have been the best investment I’ve made on all purchases. If you ever shop at this Home Depot Abel is your guy to go to for assistance!

As much as I hate to write this negative review based on one experience, I have to. I was insulted and demeaned by this stores lost prevention. I was accused of scanning an item twice and missing another. As honest a mistake it was, it was not handled that way. I was treated like a thief, and not a customer. I allowed the clerk as well as lost prevention to see the receipt. The list prevention then starts accusing me trying to steal. Seriously? I told him" no problem whatever I missed or mistook can be paid for or removed". He was livid and accusatory and didn't want to let me pay without his scene he created. I became upset and began to argue with him. Then he threatens to cal the police. I told him he should. Very demeaning and honestly not worth coming back here.

Renee in Customer Service is a treasure! She's helpful, knowledgeable, patient and conversational. The current long lines to get in the store, as a result of Covid19, could be mitigated with a better process. Some of the garden items were out of stock, and not many knowledgeable garden personnel in that section, mostly teenagers or clerks.
