I have used this store numerous times while we were in the finishing process of our retirement home not too far away. I've had a positive experience every time I've been in there. We bought our flooring there and had the Home Depot arrange installation. The experience was totally satisfactory. The young lady handling our purchase was very good at her job and knew her stuff. All other departments the same . . .the people staffing the store are all cheerful , knowledgable and courtious. I like it that this store has people working there who have personality and reflect a positive attitude. It speaks volumes for that store's leadership and local supervision. As far as cleanliness, the store is clean. I will be honest and make a general comment about the organization of any Home Depot store: I've shopped at Lowe's and Menards and their organization of their stores sets the standards. Every Home Depot store I've visited in many states and many towns seems always to have aisles blocked, stuff ready to be stowed--but not yet, and an apparent plan of setting up an array of hodge podge. The Iron Mountain store is better than most. I have heard this opinion from every person who's shopped at all the big building stores.

We shop here frequently and always find what we need at good prices. The employees are helpful and courteous, and answer any questions we have---which are many!

I had a good visit. The assistants in the paint department were very helpful. They solved the problem I was having with my paint. The other department that helped me was in the ceiling tile area they showed me where I could find what I was looking for. And check out was also very speedy.

I am completely satisfied with my shopping experiences at this particular store, the majority of the staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of the store, products stocked in the store, and who are the skilled staffers to direct you to for the more technical questions that pop up.

Drove 30 miles to get some lumber for my home trim work. Couldn't find what I wanted. Went up to 3 store associates to ask for a certain size and they looked at me and walked away. I guess I didn't look like I had money. Every time I go to this store I have this issue. Everyone stands around talking to each other and no one will help you. Wouldn't recommend this store to anyone.

Melanie was exceptionally helpful - not to mention knowledgeable and creative - during my visit. She provided info and additional suggestions for my gardening project. She also helped me load up the 4 large potted plants and 5 sheets of board insulation. We had a very cordial time, I thoroughly enjoyed her upbeat, positive attitude.

You may have heard of the singer and movie star Mark Wahlberg, but the Home Depot in Iron Mountain, Michigan has a "star associate" working at the building materials desk that is knowledgeable, fun to look for materials with, and down right professional! His name is Mark Markham. Mark is another one of the reasons why I shun our local building materials store (Menards) here in Marinette, WI, and would much rather drive the 70 or so miles to buy home fix up materials. The entire staff of store associates have never let me down in Iron Mountain, and it's a downright pleasure to shop there. I like a store where associates not only enhance your home fix up experience, but are trying to help a " guy on a budget" also. Thank you Mark, and "thank you" once again to The Home Depot of Iron Mountain, Michigan!! Keep up the excellent work!! The Green Lantern

I made a triip to home depot 4 days in a row for building supplies,my experience was wonderful! I always had helpful associates, great in helping me figure out exactly what I needed for the project i was doing, great cutting from Rich and Paul and wonderful checkout with Jaron who helped me get a line of credit!! wonderful, I will be visiting alot more as I have a few more projects lined up to complete!!!

I was looking for new types of led lightbulbs and the store associate was very knowledgeable about the new products. He was very helpful in this case.

my wife and I were looking for some products we needed soon and we also were shoping for future remodeling ideas, while looking around the store for several things, a store clerk asked if they could help us find anything , and we did so they were very helpfull , and we were very thankfull.
