How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?
Be confident your home is equipped for springtime temperature changes by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. On your house's exterior, examine roof shingles for tears that could let water seep in. Vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If moisture freezes in the crevices, you might be dealing with damage.
Do you have moving boxes?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
