Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting CFLs, lead acid batteries, rechargeable batteries, and plastic plant pots for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used in composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
We have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores since 2010.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates. This commitment extends beyond our stores to our local communities and the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our eco actions.
Welcome to the Kifer Rd Home Depot. We can't wait to help you get started with your next home improvement project.
Whether you're looking for TV wall mounts or boilers, your favorite local hardware store has you covered. Get in and out, then back to the task at hand. You can also check out our Home Depot product locator app, which displays the available inventory, as well as a store map and aisle location for the items you want.
At The Home Depot, community involvement is important to us. The Home Depot Foundation has pledged has pledged to invest $750 million in veteran causes by 2030.
You can find us southeast of the intersection of CA-237 and the 101, not far from Target or Goodwill, west of Costco. We look forward to seeing you in our aisles. Don't forget to browse the local ad before you arrive to know which items are on promotion.
Sincerely,
The Kifer Rd Home Depot Store Team
Do you have large outdoor Halloween decorations?
Yes, we carry many large outdoor Halloween decorations, including many life-sized animatronics. Make your front yard the scariest in the neighborhood with giant Halloween decor options, including witches and skeletons. Skelly, the 12-foot skeleton, and Dean the Deathologist, a dapper bartender, are two current favorites. Halloween inflatables are another way to up the drama and create interest.
Why should I get a generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances life throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms, blizzards tornados, hurricanes, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements knock it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Why should I repair my roof before the cold sets in?
Make sure your home is ready for colder weather by replacing any broken parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be in for a real headache. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofing panels or shingles for rust or damage that could let water in. Gutters should be cleaned to prevent ice dams. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and verify indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed if they're damaged.
How can I make more space for the holidays?
As you prepare for the holidays, give yourself extra space in the house and stow away the rest. Shoe racks and other storage containers remove summer belongings from the equation. Garage cabinets keep tools, decorations, and more out of the way. Protect fragile items with moving blankets. If you need even more room, a new shed can give you the space you've dreamed of.
How do I check my Home Depot gift card balance?
Home Depot gift cards are a popular choice for birthdays, housewarming parties, and the holidays. DIYers know they're fun to give and to receive. You can purchase them online at homedepot.com or in our brick-and-mortar stores. If you're a recipient, you can check your gift card balance online or visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you. Redeem our gift cards for online or in-store shopping, all with no additional fees.
