I became a Home Depot "Pro Xtra" member when asked to become one. Delano is very helpful. Richie has a great "I will take care of you" attitude. Jennifer and Renee are lovely helpers. La Mirada is not the closest Home Depot location to me, But it is worth driving extra miles because they have the BEST EMPLOYEES I've met at any other Home Depot.

Handy Andy. Andy was in the section of screws n bolts. I wanted to retrieve a shopping cart out of the lake at the park in La Mirada. This is outside of a home project but he came up with a cheap McGhiver idea and it worked very well and was eager to help me make it happen. I was treated with respect, professionalism and didn't look at me like what are you trying to do as this was to make something out of something to retrieve a shopping cart in the lake and it worked, first try 2 min .

None of the employees greeted or recognized my presence. The only employee who noticed and assisted me was the self checkout employee.

The ceiling fan definitely amped up the look of my kitchen!!!

I don’t know if I’m the only one but whenever I call this store, it takes forever to get a department. The fastest I’ve ever got a department is five minutes and it’s usually around 10 minutes before I can get the department I need.

Female customer service employee was rude and not helpful to my needs at all.

We received great assistance in placing a special order with our associate but item was not delivered as scheduled and now says delayed. We have called the store numerous times and were told they can’t give us any information about the item and we told to just wait for it to be delivered. We cannot just wait around for an item to be delivered without any window for delivery. This item is expensive and cannot risk it being stolen from our front porch. When we try and track the order it gives no information other than delayed. We should be notified from the store or Home Depot corporate about our item status.

Staff and crew at the La Mirada Home depot were very friendly, approachable, and very knowledgeable to help. They know right where everything is, and how to use them.

I came into the store asking if there were any propane bottles left after the weekend. Michael went out and looked and moved around the bottles in the cage and found three. I bought two and another gentleman bought one. While we were in the process Michael asked if we needed a bbq with the propane. What a crack up both the other customer and I laughed. I appreciate this store’s service and associates.

I bought a lot of material prices where fair, I am satisfied

Mark in hardware greeted me and made 10 keys for my house. We had a great discussion about Home Depot and the great resources it has.

The first person I asked for help asked someone knowledgable with my need to help me. Soon that person came and offered help. She was very helpful and had a very kind and positive spirit. I make my purchase and left the store uplifted. Thank you.

I am not a fan of the new self service/ partial service checkout lines. It's very chaotic. It was a bad idea. The store 0was much better before the update.

I bought Ryobi hand tools and for my garden needs

I bought a kit combo tools, and when I got home , surprise, not that tools that I was expecting, sadly it's the only home depot closest to my house.

La Mirada employees are not so much friendly zero eye contact or even a greeting? Seems like it’s high school side conversations about personal employees. I wish HD would hire people that excel in home improvement not just showing up to the JOB!

Nice store, been shopping there for years, but now they’re screwing their employees and making their customers check out. Total inconvenience if we don’t want to, and they’re not paying us to do their job, and they’re not giving us any discounts for doing their work. Home Depot you can kiss off. I will give my business as much as possible to the mom and Pop stores in the area. Customer no service for corporate greed.

95% of the time that I shop at the Home Depot, I find and use my purchase. Rearly I have to return something. When that occurrs it's usually because dishonest person returns something they miss treated and/or broke.

We have purchased kitchen and home appliances twice at the Home Depot in La Mirada and have had great service from it's employees in this department. They are kind, patient, and courteous. Prices are competitive with other stores.

I shop at numerous stores and this one was the worst, not only were the shelves not filled but no customers service

I bought the samsung Bespoke all in one. Got it for an amazing 4th of July special price. Almost half off. The appliance associate Jackie was very knowledgeable and made me feel special. Thank you.
