Always find what I need, plus new and different products.

I order the material needed online, then pick it up in the Latham Store. What a great process!! The reps at the Customer Service desk is always courteous and helpful, and my order is always ready when indicated!

I walked in to return some items I bought the day before but, never needed...Just as soon as I entered the store, I was immediately ushered to the return desk…No one was in line at the return desk and the associate immediately assisted me in a very polite, professional and pleasant manner. I handed him my original receipt and the items I was returning and he quickly took care of everything, in a lightning-fast flash of merely a few seconds. He stapled my return receipt to the original and cheerfully thanked me for shopping at The Home Depot. This associate, was a true professional that seemed to strive to really help out & assist a customer and expedite the entire process. I didn’t get his name but, the name of the cashier listed on the return receipt is ELIJAH, at the Latham, NY store. Thank you!

We want you to know how impressed we were with two of your employees, Chad and Alex, in the Tiles Section at Home Depot Store # 1259, in Latham NY. We went recently to this Home Depot Store, we needed help finding materials, grouting, for a marble tiles work project. We already checked other local stores, and we were frustrated not being able to find someone to help us decide which grouting material to purchase. Fortunately, our experience changed into a positive one when we went to your store. We have first met Chad, who took time to explain difference between grouting materials available, and he was very helpful when recommending what product will work best for our tiles project. Then we have spoken to Alex, she helped us choosing the best color for the grouting, and she was able to offer solutions to our needs, since she is also teaching tiles installation workshop classes. Chad and Alex at the Tiles department of Store # 1259 are one of your most valuable employees, very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, they were the reason we purchased the materials we needed from Home Depot, and we will definitely choose again this store for our further projects because of employees like them. We were also pleasantly surprised by the level of commitment these two young employees have. Such professionalism is rare nowadays. You are fortunate to have Alex and Chad as employees. Shopping @ home depot is pretty much always a good experience since I'm a retired contractor its probably my favorite store. I just purchased a new ariens snow blower today ( my 38 yr old ariens just broke, could maybe fix it, but I decided to treat myself to a new one! The price was ok,and when Mike from electric and Aaron from plumbing actually helped get it in my truck and actually followed me to my home 5 minutes from the store to unload it off the truck, I just couldn't say no. They were very helpful, and I'm very happy to have my new snowblower in the garage. Let It Snow!!!! ;-) Thanks guys Wayne

The garden department had great mid summer reduced prices on many items. Just what I needed to finish my planting.

The first associate we encountered was now from that department but immediately found someone to help us.

the store is clean and organized to find things you need that you are looking for while shopping!

I needed one item and knew this was the place to go. The purchase was quick and easy. The associate that assisted me was quick and knowledgeable. The issue I have is with the representatives selling the Solar and Heating/Cooling Systems. The Solar rep has the same ....intro "have you heard the news". The gentleman (and I use the term in jest) was obnoxious, sarcastic and made comments under his breath. This detracts from the store and the shopping experience in general. If shoppers were smart when asked if they own a home you should say (NO) and then you would be left to go on your way, but homeowners are proud they do own a home. Stop with the insulting high pressure pitches. If a customer is interested they will inquire.

As previously commeted in the survey, a woman, who appeared to be the supervisor of the Gardening Department of the Latham, NY store was outstandingly helpful and knowlegeable. She went out of her way to assist me. She answered all my questions and printed out additional information from the computer for me. She has a pleasant, cheerful, well informed personality.

Truth be told, normally I have an awesome experience at this Home Depot and tend to look forward to my next visit. This was an unfortunate experience in which I was highly disappointed.

Nice store and great associates. I like the location, and the veteran discounts.

Always get good service here, Nance and Dan are always on the ball.
