Love my Layton store. Just please take care of your plants and flowers, water them so that they don't look so sad!

The employee at the return desk was friendly and made it very easy to return and item and get store credit. There were a good variety of choices and the item I wanted was reduced in price. The check out had no lines and the employee was very helpful. She smiled and gave me assistance as needed.

I was in recently to purchase a bundle of appliances for my new home and I was very surprised by the attentiveness of Al, the gentleman who helped me by explaining the options of each product (fridge, range, dishwasher and microwave) and helped me complete this purchase by helping me find all my discounts and rebates I qualified for. Mandee, another worker, helped keep my daughters entertained so I could make this shopping trip successful!! We will be back many times!!

I love this store! Best customer service. I buy items from here all the time, but my most recent purchase at the ProServices desk gave me outstanding customer service. I was going to purchase vinyl fencing online, but thankfully I called the store & spoke to a ProService Rep. She answered all my questions & kept me from ordering the wrong posts!! She entered my entire order & offered to either send to me via email for online ordering or to keep until I could come in & place the order in person. I chose to place the order in person & she was super helpful again. I wish I could provide her name, but unfortunately I can't remember it & it's not on the order. :(

Joe in appliances went out of his way to be helpful, answer all our questions well, and then answer more after we got home. Because of all the pleasant help we received we returned and bought the one appliance we had been asking about. The appliance was well regarded in reviews, the price was right, and Joe was splendid

The Layton store has friendly sales people who are willing to help you with your shopping needs. The paint department has been especially helpful this last month.

Had to go to Lowes because this Home Depot didn't have Gardner Bender GHG-1525 1/4 inch grommets I needed for my project.

This store used to be very ran down and dirty but over the last couple years it seems they are always very neat and have what I need

Ordered carpet here because of the 72 hour guarantee. They called to schedule it 5 days after I bought it, and seemed pretty annoyed that I wanted a discount when they were "working as hard as they could". After scheduling, they called me back the next day to let me know they didn't actually have my carpet and it would be 2-3 weeks before they could get it, and then they weren't sure when an install could take place "because of the holidays". They once again seemed annoyed that I would have the audacity to ask for a greater discount. When I called back to cancel the next day they attempted to charge me a 15% restocking fee. For carpet they didn't have and wouldn't have for 3 weeks. They had me wait on hold to call the company to make sure the carpet wasn't made yet before they would refund my entire amount. They seemed disappointed they didn't get to screw me out of a $500 restocking fee. I went to local carpet company and got much nicer carpet at a similar price. They said it will be 2 weeks. I should have rewarded their honesty from the start rather than falling for the lies of Home Depot.

We visited this store twice on June 2nd and had great customer service both times. The employees were able to point us to exactly what we needed, and assisted with showing us how to use what we needed (as we are new to home improvement projects). Gus in the doors and windows department was particularly helpful, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable in his area. The store appeared clean and well organized.

Amanda in the cabinet department is amazing and goes above and beyond. The store is clean and there are many associates on the floor that are willing to help.

I already love Home Depot and shop at various locations everywhere but I especially enjoy this one.

I find the employees at the Layton, Utah store to be very helpful and considerate. They usually know where an item can be found, but if not, I appreciate them asking someone where it can be found.

I actually drive seven miles to go to this store, rather than going to Lowe's, which is just two miles from my home. The prices are much better, and Home Depot has what I need - the other store doesn't.The employees are, by and large, friendly and helpful. I can almost always find what I need to make repairs, and the prices are good.

We shop a LOT at this store. Always happy with our purchases. Our purchase today for stove and OTR microwave couldn't have been better. The CS Sales associate, Deborah Busby, was EXCELLENT on every level. Knows her product and area, FRIENDLY and took TIME with us on a human level .....sorely lacking in today's world. We were only her only customers at that time, so had the time. I am a CS person and I Like to take time with my customers instead of acting like they are cattle and have to be herded out after a rushed sale! :( Very very Pleasant experience and she explained EVERYTHING concerning our purchase Very thorough Layton Store has very friendly and helpful employees! We love ours :)

Great experience---the guy in the plumbing isle was very helpful to me and the other customers looking for sprinkler/irriagation stuff---would definitely go back again.

My husband I recently made a large tile order for our home. The salesman was very helpful. We can't wait for the installation. So far so good.

We just moved to Utah from Virginia and I have been a Home Depot customer for over 30 years. Ken at the Layton Home Depot Pro Desk is exceptional!!! We are building our dream home up in Morgan. He has gone out of his way to make sure are products get to the job site on time and in one piece. He has helped develop a solid Trust that causes us to keep going back for more. Beats out all the local competition with his glowing customer services, quality products and savings. I am grateful for a Store Chain you can trust in no matter where you move or live in the country. I'm an older woman, and when I shop for heavy things, need help at times. My last visit to Home Depot in Layton was awesome. I had all the help I needed, lots of attention from employees (who seem to scan the customers to see if anyone needs help) and got cement blocks (which they handled for me totally), HEAVY wood posts (they cut them in half for me) and a check out guy that was awesome. Best service ever, for a 'little old lady'.

I'm just a home user, nothing fancy. I wanted to tile my kitchen. Nice lady in flooring took a pallet of tile for us to the register. A+ for her, she said someone in lumber would take it to our truck. Cool, will save us some time. Told cashier, they called before ringing us up. 30 minutes after check out, constantly asking wtf was going on, I returned the entire purchase and all supplies at the service desk. And Lowes got us better stuff for $40 less. Worst service I've ever experienced anywhere

My brother bought a home in east Layton about a year ago and then began completely remodeling it himself. He had retired from his employment of 43 yrs as an electronic engineer, and moved from his neighborhood in Salt Lake City, Utah. my brother had a speech impediment, and had lost 60% of his hearing, so communicating was sometime, waters difficult. He spent considerable time and money at this store, on new kitchen, bathroom cabinets/cupboards, new appliances, tile, jacuzzi tub, paint, flooring, lumber, plumbing, water heater & softener, and the list goes on. He spoke very highly about the staff at this store, they had become friends over the last year. I don't have specific names at this moment, however I will follow up later with names of employees that were especially helpful, there was one lady i believe her name was Alecia that took a special personal interest in him and his projects and made him feel very special. "Acts of kindness" over and above doing their job. Because of my brothers communication difficulties he often felt isolated and was not always treated with patience and kindness, and sometimes ridiculed and bullied during his life. My brother was truly brilliant as an electronic engineer designing, programming and installing systems in our countries defense aircraft, making our country a safer place to live. Sadly on Feb. 25th 2017 at age 62 he fell victim to severe seasonal and situational depression and ended his life. His name is Gaylen Bodily, he was a very kind, caring man who was always helping others. Thank you to all of the staff of this store for being so kind, and caring to my brother, they indeed made a real difference in his life.

Very poor follow through. Agents we're very friendly and easy to talk to, but failed to follow through on any commitments after the sale...

Knowledgeable and friendly employees

It's been a while since we were at Home Depot and I had forgotten what a pleasant group of people they have working there. We enjoyed the products and bought lots more than we originally went for. Happy!
