Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Spring Deals event?

Another great spring sale is here, so prepare to save money. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you're looking for. Be sure to check out our patio furniture, grills and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from April 23rd through May 10th and enjoy your new products all year long.

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be confident your home is ready for spring temperature swings by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. On the exterior of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that could let water in. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to ice storms and snow. Also, check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture freezes in the cracks, you might be in for a headache.

Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Do I need a generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the Home Depot Kids Workshop in May?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople and builders! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a box with a lid that slides on is a great way to exercise creativity, listening abilities, and fine motor skills. This fun kids' project is happening on 5/2/26, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
