As usual, several employees greeted us and offered help. We were abke to find what we were looking for and loved some of the new Christmas outdoor decor. The staff member at checkout was helpful and kind.

The cabinet door I brought in to order a replacement should have been an easy replacement since the employee could see the old door, size, and color. It was completely wrong when it arrived. Wrong color, too tall by a full inch, two wide by over an inch. Absolutely a disappointment.

We spent a lot of time looking for kitchen cabinet pulls. We were happy with our final choice from Home Depot and with the discount applied that I asked for.

I had a purchased a small toy elsewhere and was unable to remove the security disc. Glenn was so kind and ready to help me. He took care of it lickety split (I had tried earlier and stripped the screw, but he was more knowledgeable and took care of it in no time.) The little toy kept us amused talking to us as he worked. LOL

We unexpectedly needed to purchase a new washer for our house. The team of appliance experts, specifically, Sarah was very helpful and knowledgeable in selecting the washer that fit our needs and budget. She walked us through every step of the process. Would definitely recommend this store for any home improvement projects you may have.

Disappointing to learn the store does not stock what it displays, the listed price excludes a required delivery fee, and Home Depot refuses returns despite taking a share of the sale. Poor service, hidden costs, and no accountability.

Spent over $1200 on flooring and stupidly bought 4 4mm x 20mm screws for $2 each! If I had known or paid attention to the ringing up by an HD employee I wouldn't have bought them. The apathy isn't any worse than anywhere else within 1000 miles. Don't expect good help or service. You might get it but don't expect it. Lower every expectation and you'll be okay.

I like shopping at Home Depot. It is my go-to store. I would like to thank Liz for helping me. She does not mind helping any customer. She greets you with a smile, very courteous and professional. They need more representative like her.

I was looking for an item and was immediately helped by a person with excellent knowledge of the layout of the store and location of the item.

It's always a GREAT experience at The Lynchburg Home Depot! I get greeted every time I walk in. There is always a Home Depot Staff member willing to help with my needs. 5 STARS*****

The vacuum was not available at the store, and it was ordered with pickup about 8 days later. The pickup was fine, and the employee thanked me for shopping at HD. The problem was the price I paid. I could have purchased the vacuum from other stores for about $12, less and this is significant because the retail price was less than $40.

I know at times we feel like no one is there to help but there are so many others needing help we need to be patient. But I do feel this is the best Home Depot I always get help getting tools, always friendly, always willing to help load purchases. Just enjoy the people that work here.

Lots of home improvement goodies!

We are adding a second bathroom in our house and have gotten lots of the products from Home Depot that were exactly what we were looking for. The only recommendation I have would be to hire additional staff in the spring and summer months.

The gentleman who helped me with the paint was terrific. Very knowledgeable and helpfull on color and finish.

The Associate who helped with our order did a great job and answered all of our questions.

Have never used this store but I am regularly bombarded with other customers receipts and details of purchases despite continually asking for this to stop. So much for client confidentiality!

They no longer stock refrigerators. You have to wait a week for their delivery and pay extra for the delivery which I did not want

I love this store. No matter the department I go to, the employees go above and beyond to help.

Wompared to all of the other big box stores, Home Depot is the best. They do not try to sell you dead/dying plants and everything looks so fresh and healthy,

Associates get “caught up” in daily task and seem to ignore shoppers. Don’t let a shopper walk by you without at least say “hello”👋. Simply acknowledging shoppers makes us feel welcome and appreciated.

While in the store to purchase building materials for a new portico that I’m building on my home, Karen stopped and asked me if I needed any help. She helped me locate what I needed, and then invited me to check out at the Pro Desk. Following that, she was very helpful with the purchase of several items for this project. Lorenzo, whom I had met previously in the store, is always very friendly and open.

Warning: they have terrible return policies if you return goods and receive a merchandise card to use later you are the only one who can use it, not a family member or a friend, only the you. No other store does this
