I was searching for a box with specific dimensions for freight shipping when I suddenly noticed that one of the packing boxes containing 10 moving boxes for sale, had the exact size I needed (I know this may take a moment to digest, so read this once again). I asked JERRY if he could take out the 10 moving boxes from the packing box, and after checking with his manager, he generously gave me the box for free. As a regular Home Depot customer for the past 8 years, I've purchased all my construction materials, including those for the outdoor seating for my café, from there. I truly appreciated JERRY taking the extra time to help me out. Thank you once again, you really made my day ;)

Very helpful and encouraged my to buy more plants

The cashier (Shantasia) and the supervisor (Nadia) were very kind and helpful and that made my morning feel awesome.

On a Monday night, I wanted to search for a new addition to my home. JAMES saw me struggling to carry the soil, peat moss, pot, and plant. He immediately asked if I wanted help, carried items with me to the cashier, and then offered to help me plant my corn plant. My night went from busy to magical through his act of kindness, thoughtfulness, and humor. Thank you to JAMES and Home Depot for an incredible service experience.

Today I received the best customer service from a lovely cashier named Nikoletta. She was so very kind and helpful with getting my plants into bags. Her courtesy went a long way for me and I really appreciated the quality customer service!!!

I was looking for light bulbs that are discontinued. I almost had to go to the Nuthouse, the 24 hour hardware store on 29th street where they would have been super expensive.. I was so happy to find them at my local HD.

Grace in the garden department, made my day today. She makes me proud to be a New Yorker and know there are courteous individuals that respect you as a human being.

I use Odoban disinfectant to keep all surfaces clean and safe. I also use it in my wash to keep the clothes soft and fresh smelling. I’m so glad they keep it in stock. It’s great for Pandemic cleaning. Not a bad price either. $9.99/gallon.

It's by far the BEST home improvement retailer I've come across- whole store super clean, products kept well organized in shelves or other places, reasonable spaces in between isles, fantastic customer service....u name it all! I visit the garden department often (as compared to others). If u're a lover of plants, u'll understand if I tell u, The Home Depot has very low prices....as least as compared to ALL places I've visited here in Manhattan...and boy, they're beautiful

Although I do miss their location on third Avenue and 59th St. since they moved it over to first Avenue I’ve been coming to this location and can say it’s been a very nice substitute. I usually am able to find what I’m looking for the paint department is pretty helpful the associates on the sales floor usually ask you if you need help locating anything so honestly, I can’t complain about this location is also a positive that it’s also next-door to Panera bread which I do enjoy going to as well, so 10 out of 10 Home Depot.

Denise Blake, Project Designer, helped us find, purchase and coordinate a delivery for a new dishwasher. She was knowledgeable and patient, thoughtful and detail-oriented making us feel very informed about our purchase and delivery. Above all of that she was very kind. Amazing customer service and great advice from Jonathan. Jonathan helped us quickly find the screws we needed and even showed us how to install them to fix our issue. This really saved us a ton of time! Overall we had a wonderful experience working with such a friendly and knowledgeable staff member. Thanks Jonathan!

Rarely go into this store and I doubt will for a while. Sales associates are nasty and rude especially during check out. Someone cut the check out line and the clerk directing which register just laughed at me when I made a comment

I work in Fashion retail/wholesale 49 years and have always been great at customer service. This location has friendly help with advice on fixing things if needed. When I couldn't find Limeaway in the cleaning products aisle I asked for help. The salesman squatted down to the floor, moved big gallon jugs and pulled out a bottle of Limeaway plus handed it to me. Excellent customer service is the word.

please gather all information for a installation before purchase a product from home depot. It sound cheaper for installation compared to other company but the service is dissatisfied. The installer hired by home depot incorrectly told me I need a full inspection from the New York housing department for a simply old gas stove replacement. The installer told me two other employee from home depot on the delivery date can install the gas stove with inspection but they cannot do it on the delivery date. I cannot wait Housing department to call me for the inspection because i will move out soon. If I knew the inspection part. I will definitely purchase the product from other company. it was ultimately replaced by my building superintendent.

Bought paint. Asked if I wanted paint color on file. Sure, I said. I was charged $0.45 at checkout.

Unique supervisor at 40 23 st must have problems communicating. She is disrespectful. I sent email to company i am waiting for response. She has been there for a long time. I find that people come to jobs with ghetto mentality. Or there just not happy with themselves. I hope my grievance is respected. I will keep everyone posted.
