This store is great and the employee we purchased the carpeting from, Henry Jennett made the difference for our experience!

Best Home Depot in the surrounding area by far. Best one I have ever been too.

I am consistently in this store for one thing or another . The Staff in the various departments are always helpful when needed and the Front desk people are especially good. Ashley Tucker above the rest.

Go to Henry in the Flooring Dept or Mike in the Paint Dept for really good and helpful advice. We did and it saved a lot of time and money.

Very clean and well laid out store. Greeted at the door and then when I was looking Paul asked, "Can I help you find something?" I was really thankful that quickly we gathered everything I needed to install handicap shower bars, railings and how to securely attach. He found all the hardware that was required so I got the project completed with ease. Thank you Home Depot and Paul!

This is one of the best Home Depot stores that I have been to. The staff was top notch and the experience that my girlfriend and I had couldn't have been better. Highly reccomend!!

The employees' here are truly an amazing group of dedicated and well trained people. They made our very extensive home projects easy. They were always really pleasant too. Truly!

Great store, always clean and the staff helpful. on 10/1/17 Brandon was especially helpful. He offered to help move and select heavy pressure treated wood for a pergola and cut those that were identified. He then offered to move the heavy cart to the front of the store while we continued shopping. He is the model of an excellent employee!

The store was organized with concierge type service. My wheelchair husband and I were spared the long "walkabout " that normally taxes us, and , many times, we leave. This was a successful shopping experience and will result in many more purchases.

They have great customer service and amazing employees jeremy was a big help to me from start to finish making this experience a great one for not only me but my kids as well thank you this store is great and i will shop here again!!!

Natalie in the Paint Department was extremely helpful. She was on her break and took the time to help me get the four gallons of stain mixed that I needed to finish a job I was working on. That was dedication and a credit to great customer service. My compliments to her and the Middletown Home Depot.

The service I have received from all the employees here, has been consistently attentive to my needs in helping me to maintain my management properties. Amber, Holly, Ashley and Christina have shown me the utmost of respect and courtesy at the service desk. Mike, the manger has been very helpful in solving many of my product selection questions as to which product may be best for my job applications at the time. Thank you guys! See ya 2morrow!!!

Don't typically shop at this Home Depot, as it's a bit farther to drive to than my regular HD... but this store had items in stock i needed so I went. What i liked best about the Middletown Home Depot was the staff! This was a Saturday early afternoon and there was available staff in every area i needed! I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance in each area. Even a "floater" staff person - helped me find items. I had an online order pickup as well, the cashier was very nice, she even rang up my basket items and then found to other staff to help me load my car! My regular home depot staff is not nearly as available/helpful.

I can't give enough kudos to the cashier Linda, she is so friendly and helpful!! It was the best experience both my finance' have ever had at Home Depot, by far, as we have been there a lot in the past year with our new home purchase. I hope we see her again soon and get to always have such a nice, smiling face to take care of us. Thank you so much, Linda!!

The Customer Service person, Ashley T was friendly, cooperative and patient. The situation she had to deal with was a disaster. It took 90 minutes to confirm an order for carpet and installation. The computer system communicates poorly between the local store and the location that actually receives and coordinates the order. The details of the order were not correct, and it took Ashley nearly 90 minutes to finally get it straight. I emphacize that it was NOT her fault. The ordering center or whatever it may be called,, and the Home depot subcontractor, in this case the person who measured the carpet, obviously do not communicate between each other very well. An important detail which was agreed upon between the measurer and myself was not in the contract. It should have not taken so long to resolve.. I can only conclude that this store is adequate if you shop, purchase what you need and carry it out yourself. In no way shape or form would I EVER recommend them for any kind of custom or special order. Either the Home depot ordering center is poorly run with less than capable personnel, or the subcontractors used in the process need to be reevaluated and if necessary replaced.

Give Alex, a Middletown CT Store Supervisor, a promotion ! Additionally, I recommend that he be ' fast racked ' for a management position. Thanks.

I wanted to buy a mower that wasn't in stock at my local Home Depot, even though homedepot.com said they had 2. Called Middletown and spoke with Eric. In 30 seconds he found my mower and asked for my name so he could reserve it for me! When I arrived, my mower was on a flatbed cart at the customer service counter. I paid and off I went. But not before I was able to meet Eric and thank him in person. All transactions should be this easy!

John in the tool rental shop & Kevin were very warm, welcoming and helpful in finding a solution to our problem! Definitely recommend this store to anyone who needs a little help with a DIY project!

Not as crowded and staff is fast to help.

There are way to many handicapped parking stalls at this store, 14 to be exact, Customers need to walk quite a distance because of these 14 handicapped stalls. At least half of them need & should be removed !!

GREAT service from KEVIN M. Found what I wanted, knowledgable about product, friendly and VERY helpful.

Went to buy appliances and was told that the advertised units were not in stock; I was pressured for an up sale of double the price. I then asked if they could be ordered and picked up at the store and was told "no", they would have to be delivered to the site and that would take three weeks and would require additional delivery and installation fees ( sounds like another up charge to me). I then asked if they were available at another store and was told that they were in stock at the Bristol store, drove 50 miles to find out that they weren't. Drove back to the Middletown store and confronted the associate who wasn't even phased by the accusation. I then asked for the Manager who also couldn't be bothered or even showed any concern over the course of events.

The store was neat and clean. The parking lot was not cluttered with carriages. The store's staff was courteous and helped me locate the product I was shopping for. The cashier opened a new register ..so no wait and she was very friendly. Great experience!
