Worst shopping experiences ever!!! On 10/29/17 I went to Home Depot on Carpenter Rd Modesto. We could not find any help and when we did they acted like we were disturbing them and taking up to much of their valuable time!! We went to the kitchen cabinets isle (isle 19) to look for a couple cabinets to replace a damaged corner sink cabinet and one to fill a dishwasher space. We found the cabinets that were suitable but could not find any help to get them loaded on a cart. So I decided to go to the sink area and find the sink and facet first. There were actually a couple employees that came along but no offer of help. I was on a riding cart and my friend had the basket. Finally I got one to stop and tell me the price on one sink and I asked where it was because we hadn’t found it. He pointed out the box he did give me one price but first he had to go borrow a scanner and then he said he couldn’t help anymore because he had to hurry and return the scanner! Guess Home Depot thinks customers are only entitled to one price check! So he left we had to load the sink ourselves. Then we went back to cabinet isle but still no help of course! So my friend went out and found a flat cart and I looked for help but none available. He came back and he loaded the corner cabinet with no help onto the cart off the middle shelf. Then he loaded the cabinet off the bottom shelf onto the cart too also with no help! Then he transferred the sink to that cart on top of the cabinets then we went to the tile isle and still no help around so he loaded 2 bags of mortar by himself. My friend is strong but he does have a back back. Then we went to self checkout because it was closest and paid and no offer to assist him in loading it into his pickup even though I mentioned it to the cashier that he had to load them without help. So we went out and he started to load it by himself as there were no loaders outside. Just happened that another customer was coming to the store that my friend knew and he offered help and he helped load the merchandise into the pickup. All the while no parking lot attendant was around. So Home Depot you don’t rate a 5 star for service more like a -5 stars!!! But if you think that was bad just read my next review about the lumber department there the very next day! By the way I don’t usually write reviews especially negative ones but between the two bad experiences I think Home Depot needs to get their store in order!

If you are in a pinch and have to go.... it is a convenient location. There is not much else about this location that I could recommend. I shop here as a contractor as a last resort.

This store consistantly has employees that know what they are talking about. You need help they have an answer most of the time. The store is clean and the staff is friendly.

Buying tools is difficult due to their anti theft cameras continually beeping at you. And they sold me an item that was supposed to be on a truck and be delivered to the store on 9/22/17. I received their text stating that it was on schedule and ready to be picked up on 9/23/17. Go in to get my item and shocker, it's not there. And they won't get anymore in until 9/28/17 and that is IF it gets approved. Never mind that they already sold me one and need to fulfill my order. I always say I hate shopping at Home Depot and that never changes. They always seem to disappoint.

THE WORKERS ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL!

Store is cleen and in order. Shelves are stocked always. Employees will help you anytime, and they know what they are talking about.

Clean and well organized. The Staff are knowledgable and courteous. I brought in a vintage wooden walking cane seeking suggestions as to how to repair it. Even though it was an impossibility to repair it with the help of Steve and Mike of the Tool Rental Department the cane's handle was reattached to the cane, and Tonya of the Paint Department guided me to Steve and Mike and she also helped me pick the sandpaper, stain, and polyurethane to restore the cane to it's original beauty. Thanks guys I couldn't have done it without you.

From today forward I will ALWAYS ask for a bag. My box of screws either fell off the cart after check out or the clerk didn't put them on the cart. When I went back in and asked about them I was told "They were on your cart when you left"...............

I have shopped at this store since the day it opened. I know the location of most items in the store, consequently I navigate it very well. However, when I can't find what I need, I go to Freddy at the Pro Desk, if he doesn't know where it is, you don,t stock it. Freddy doesn't stop there he then does his best to send me to a store that will have the item I need. Makes me want to keep shopping at the Carpenter Road store. I know I am always going to find the item or the assisstance that I need !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Home Depot is my go-to for home and school projects. I have never had my questions go unanswered. If an employee doesn't know an answer he or she calls for someone who does. I also appreciate that when I purchase outdoor plants, they are guaranteed for a year. Home Depot is a home run, as far as I'm concerned.

This is the first store I come to when I need anything for a household project or just every day supplies for my garden and home. I can find everything I need here, and also get advice when I need that too.

I love this store and all the other Home Depots I have shopped at. It's like the best grown up craft store on earth for do it yourself people and homeowners. They always have what I need and are always available for assistance.

I was shown exemplary customer service and was helped expeditiously through the line as to not hold up services to anyone other customers with a smile and sincerity!

Becouse of the helpful staff my visit didn't take long at all

During my multiple visits at this particular Home Depot #6601. I have encountered Friendly Workers who assisted me during my shopping at the store. The Building is nice and clean. The supplies in the store are organized and easily found. The workers seem close to each other and that makes the place a better store. You're always welcomed with a smile with each Employer and makes you feel even more welcomed.

Could improve on having all materials available.

Sanaa at self checkout runs a clean and quick self checkout and is always there to help without even asking....always makes my visit a nice ...thanks again Sanaa
