At Home Depot, community involvement is important to us. We support the Gilroy Garlic Festival, Morgan Hill Mushroom Mardi Gras and local nonprofit organizations. In-store, we offer hands-on learning that covers a variety of topics tailored to everyone in your family, including monthly kids workshops.

What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
The adjusted hours give stores the ability to staff appropriately and provide additional time to restock shelves and perform cleaning. As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

A degenerate newer employee near Tool Rental (a red haired man with sagging pants and a beanie hat in 100° weather) smokes right outside the door. I told the infidel I didn't need the headache, nausea, throat full of phlegm, and angina from his cigarette. His stinky colon then continued to crowd me throughout my visit. Everyone else was great.

Keep track of the price of the items you are buying when it comes time to check-out. I have been overcharged before and on this trip, I was over charged 80 cents on 2 items. Eighty cents doesn't seem like much, until you consider how many Home Depots there are and how many times customers are overcharged. Overall the store is pretty nice.

The customer service in this store is HORRIBLE. I needed some wood cut, and everybody i asked either left me hanging, passed the buck, or acted like i was bothering them. I WAITED 55 MINUTES. Then one employee of the 10 that walked by me and ignored me, asked if i needed help, and within 3 minutes of me telling him my situation, someone was cutting the wood. I asked the assistant manager if he could help me, and he just looked at me like i was bothering him and interrupting his conversation with another employee. I asked the head cashier TWICE if he could help me, and to his credit he did walk around and look. But after he couldn't find someone he just left me hanging without telling me anything. BIG THANK YOU TO RAY AND MIGUEL FOR THE HELP!

I truly do appreciate the store being open and employees working during these difficult times. I just wish that my husband and I were treated better during our visit today. We went in to buy mulch and a few other gardening items to help out an elderly neighbor during these challenging times. After we checked out in the garden center, an older woman who was water the plants outside questioned us a few times. She asked if we paid for our products and if we plan on leaving since we were browsing at plants on the way out. I'm unsure why either of those is her business. Since we bought mulch, I had to pull the car up nearby so my husband can load the 11 bags of mulch that we already paid for. About five minutes later, another employee came by and did a receipt check on us. This is fine, however, he told us that the only reason he came by was because the lady working in the garden center though we were stealing and that they don't normally do receipt checks. If she was so concerned, I am not sure why she didn't just walk 10 feet over to the cashier to ask her if we paid or let the asset protection team handle it. This experience is unsettling to me and I never want to be treated this way again. I work hard for my family and my community so to be questioned by such an ignorant person is unacceptable. I hope Home Depot takes this feedback seriously and addresses this with the employee working today in the garden center so that it never happens to anyone else.

They are more than happy to take your money, but do not answer the phone when there is as issue. We bought a dishwasher and wanted it installed. Waited around all morning and when they arrived they told us we had not paid for the installation. We had wanted it installed and the sale rep knew that and said it would be 130.00 and that was fine with us, but she neglected to put it in the receipt. So I called the store and was on hold for over 30 min. No answer, went down there and canceled the sale only to find out it would take 3 days to credit our account, because they needed to get the dishwasher back in stock. So ridiculous that I paid for this dishwasher without having it in possession and now I have to wait because of someone’s screwup. I know better now I will not be back.
