The associate who helped us by a new refrigerator, Bob Jensen, was really knowledgeable about the different features on the varied makes and models of the products. He did not pressure us to buy something we didn't want. He was the "go-to" guy for other associates, too, but he never lost focus on helping us.

great store

We went the Newburgh Home Depot for a few things yesterday. In the past, we had excellent experiences here; but, lately this hasn't been the case. The only person that was helpful was the young man mixing the paint. When we tried to speak to someone about a bathroom vanity, the associate just told us, without asking us to sit and speak to him, to go online and pick one. When my husband tried to get 1 2x6x12, he waited over an hour for the associate to get a forklift and then once he had it, he went outside with it when the lumber was inside and my husband had pointed it out to him. My husband finally left without it (as well as another customer who was equally frustrated). It seems like lately there is only a skeleton crew working and no one is really putting any effort into customer service.

Nice people. BAD company policy asking for your Social Security Number in addition to Drivers License if you forget your Home Depot card. That is the reason for poor rating.

My trip to Home Depot this time was for landscape garden plants. Your variety of very healthy plants was outstanding. I had a hard time choosing from the array. I'll be back to complete more garden purchases. The cashier, Deborah, was helpful and pleasantly welcoming.

I was very satisfied with my visit today. I was there for grass seed and asked a store employee where I might find some. They took the time to walk me over to show me exactly where it was. I didn't expect that, all I was expecting was directions or an Isle or something, but the gentleman was extremely helpful as was the cashier checking out.

overall the employees are very helpful although I have encountered one or two who have bad attitudes toward customers and fellow employees

The parking lot, store and bathrooms are always clean. The people on the floor are helpful and know what they are talking about. The registers are open with real people.
