Associates need to be more helpful.. Actually the store needs to stock more items more often because there's been a bunch of times I go look for something and there is nothing on the shelf and have to wait for ever for somebody to come with the big machine to bring this down...a waste of time!

I walked in stressed out about selecting Christmas decorations, Mark helped me find everything I needed and I left the store very happy! Thank you!

i went in with a problem with a 6 month old lawn mower. I was fully prepared to rage and argue I wanted new one. The associate in tools , Glenn took a look at the mower , identified the problem in a few minutes he had me on my way with machine working better than when it was new. He made me very happy and saved HD a $800.00 return, AND I LEFT HAPPY!

store was clean and decorated nicely for Christmas. Not over done. Associates were very helpful in making sure I had everything I needed and helped me in a timely manner even though the paint department was very crowded.

This store is the best place to shop. The service is great and the prices are fair. Highly recommended.

My recent visit and appliance purchase at Home Depot was most successful due to Rachel, the sales associate who assisted me and provided most up to date information about the appliances and Amanda ,the cashier who completed my transaction using my Home Depot card and cash payment. Many times when you go into a large retail store, you get lost in the shuffle and have to deal with associates that cannot be found or that lack knowledge or a willingness to help but I have to say that the last 2 times I visited Newton Home Depot Pro Account Sales Associate John Guze and assistant Jake and their boss Ed Hazen were amazing. John offered to assist me, then while assisting me had Jake his associate get a cart and begin pulling my order while their boss Ed quietly looked on. I was so impressed with John, his knowledge, his willingness to help, his ability to control what goes on around him politely and professionally especially when other customers interrupted while he was assisting me that I strongly feel that he is destined for greatness. In today's work, he stands out as the best of the best.

I shopped around for a refrigerator and chose to purchase it here because of the helpfulness of the sales associate. He was most knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with!

I was in the market for a couple of new appliances. I had chosen other stores to shop at first and was frankly not planning on going to Home Depot. However, I figured it couldn't hurt to check their prices. I went in and had the best experience with the associate in Appliances. She was helpful and pleasant. She made sure I knew about all of my options and helped me find a refrigerator that would fit in a limited space in my kitchen. When I came back to purchase my kitchen and dishwasher, I made sure she was available to help and she continued to exceed expectations. I usually figure that one big box store is going to be about the same as another, however if Home Depot continues to provide customer service like this, it really puts them above their competitors.

Everything that I expected to find at the Newton Home Depot was where I expected to find it and at the price and quality that I expected.

THE BEST PART OF SHOPPING IN THE HOME DEPOT NEAR MY HOME IN MATAMORAS OR IN THE NEWTON STORE,NEAR MY SON'S HOME, IS THAT I CAN ALWAYS GET IN AND OUT. ONCE YOU START TO KNOW THE STORE AND HOW IT WORK I KNOW TO ASKS FOR WHAT I NEED IMMEDIATELY. N THIS WAY AN ASSOCIATE BRING ME RIGHT TO WHERE I NEED TO BE . i LOVE YOUR STORES, I RECENTLY APPLIED FOR A JOD AT HOME DEPOT BUT I CANNOT MANAGE IT DUE TO SOME GRANDPARENTING RESPONSIBILITIES. IT IS JUST AS WELL, MY HUSBAND TOLD ME THAT I WOULD SPEND MORE IN THE STORE THAN I WOULD MAKE THANKS IN AND OUT

Does it have to be a great experience to go to the store to buy?

there was a makita impact driver on sale, when i called about availability, the tool dept. associate told me there was only 1 left. He offered to take it to the courtesy counter to reserve it for me. When i got to the store, it was waiting there with my name on it. Quick, easy & the employees there were helpful & friendly. And the tool was just what i needed at a price i liked.

I found help immediately, and the associate was very helpful and very friendly. I recently ordered my kitchen cabinets, counter tops, tools, cleaning items...and the dishwasher today. I will soon be buying my new lighting for the kitchen, a sink, and a back splash. I have purchased all of this at Home Depot.

I truly enjoyed my very first workshop at Home Depot. I got the chance to meet and work with Melissa and Peggy. The ladies were personable and accommodating. I can't wait to do it again.

I came to buy some cellular pvc sheets at 9:40 pm on a Saturday night. The moment I entered the store I was greeted with an smile. The cashier was able to get a representative to help me immediately. Not only the rep. was able to help me carry the sheets, he also cut them to my specifications. Another rep. came to help and everything was done on time. i wanted to tip the young rep., but he refused to take my money. While leaving the store, another representative (he was already leaving), came and help me load the products to my car. It seems that all the Home Depot representatives in Newton, NJ have a secret formula to always smile and make you feel welcome, regardless the time. I do really appreciate the fantastic and friendly service..

Every store associate willing to help! Everything marked so it could be easily found

I went into the store to get materials to seal my driveway. Two associates offered to help me immediately. I found my items quickly and easily. As I was headed to the checkout I came upon a group of children completing a small project using tools and wearing Home Depot Aprons. They were having a great time. I stopped at the table to get information for my first grade students. The associates told me about the monthly FREE project available for children. I took flyers back to my school for our open house but I was also told that Home Depot visits schools. I am impressed with the community focus shown by this company!
