Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, CFLs, and lead acid batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used for composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.

Can I get a live Christmas tree if I have allergies?
If you're set on getting a live Christmas tree, the eastern white pine tends to be easier on folks who are allergic to trees. However, it depends on a person's individual allergies and how severe they are. When pine allergies are the culprit, try a cypress, spruce, or fir. Wash your tree with a hose and blow it dry with a leaf blower before bringing it inside if possible. As any live tree might aggravate allergies for some people, you may want to get an artificial Christmas tree instead.
What benefits do doorbell cameras have?
Enjoy safety, privacy, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window or peephole when you can see visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
Do I need a generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared for whatever circumstances life throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When considering different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Should I make siding repairs before it gets cold?
Ready your home for cold weather by replacing any faulty or broken parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in the crevices, you could have problems. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofing panels or roofing shingles for rust or damage that could let water leak into your home. Gutters should be clear to prevent ice dams. Check cinder block and brickwork for cracks, and verify indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, swap out chimney caps and vinyl siding if damaged.
Are garage cabinets or sheds better for storage?
As you prepare for the holidays, stow what you don't need to enjoy extra space. Garage cabinets keep decorations, tools, and more out of the way. Protect fragile items with moving blankets. Shoe racks and other storage bins remove summer belongings from the equation. If you need even more room, a new shed can give you the space you've been waiting for.
