Bob in electrical ROCKS!!
I called ahead to see if electrical had 2 female TAs. Bob in electrical checked and confirmed there were two left. When I got there, (luckily, no one had bought them) Bob showed me right where they were on the shelf. These two TAs would have been a job killer, THANKS BOB!!

    Worst check out experience ever
The creepy guy that was supposed to help at self checkout just stood behind me when I was at self checkout and didn’t say a word when I was there. Made me feel very uncomfortable . Please train your employees not to just stand behind customers and stare at them.

      Friendly and knowledgeable employees'.
This is my first time visiting this location, it actually has all the material I needed. I want to thank you Greg, Steve and Jim for being so friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you for answering all my questions without making me feel ignorant. And thank you for price matching the competition. I will definitely conduct future business at this location.

            Terrible customer service!
I ordered a troy Bilt push mower on line. When it arrived, I put the oil and gas and lifted the push bar and secured the lock nuts. The recoil would not come out the mower would not start. I called the store and spoke with Richard garden department head who was off zero help he told me he would transfer me to the service desk and they would do whatever they thought best, the young lady I spoke with told me I would be unable to swap them over there but have to refund it and re-order. I drove them our 35 miles into the store and she still gave me a hard time because I had not taken the gasoline out of it. I am 65 years old. My nice neighbors, loaded it into the back of my Chevy impala in the trunk for me. I couldn’t lift my water if I wanted to. I explained that to the department head on the phone. after arriving at the store, the young lady at the customer service test was rude. She told me that I could not swap it. Long story short everything on line tells me that I could return that mower to any store any Home Depot store and refit s or exchange. The final result after they took the mower one of the associates looked at it. The young lady came back to me and the gentleman telling me that I put the mower together backwards. Someone took the push handle and put it on backwards before they shipped it or when they assembled it I don’t know which all I had to do was put oil and gas in and tighten the lock nuts. I normally shop at Lowe’s and everything above is the reason why. I worked for Home Depot for years at the special services desk, and every receiving an RTV. I would have never given that type of customer service to anyone. Your store is also filthy, cluttered, and a hazard.

The Employees Make The Experience Better
The employees never hesitate to help out and go out of their way to ensure a good experience. I exclusively come to this hardware store and never had an issue and only have positive experiences. They also have the best deals in town and are the ONLY store that negotiates price on out of season/ clearance items. They are truly amazing here.

Gratitude for the folks at Home Depot
Dear New Friends at Home Depot, We were on a three-hour drive with our grand-daughter and traveling with her new ball python when she began crying for help. Fluffy the snake had slid under the seat and she could not tell where he was anymore. After pulling over on the shoulder of the highway we peeled the fabric off the seat to reveal the hard case under which, or within, was the snake. The snake was wedged in tight and couldn’t move. We needed to take apart the seat. There were bolts… We were nearing Oneonta. Instinctively I tapped “Home Depot” into the navigation system. Home Depot was a mile from the next exit, and the 9-year-old was nearing hysteria with worry. We found parking with the trucks in the Pro parking which gave us shade and proximity to attend to the problem. Did we need a metric wrench or the other kind? What, or rather who, we needed most was there, standing in the first aisle - Jim Mullen, in the orange apron. I told him our story and he showed me the wrench selection. I made a guess on which wrench set. Out in the parking lot, Jim showed up with Kyle Taylor, also in the distinctive orange apron. Kyle knew about snakes, was not afraid (helpful!), and could make mechanical things cooperate. The bolts I had identified had not been enough to get the seat apart. In minutes Kyle found the disassembly points. A click here, and a tap there, and Fluffy was liberated and uninjured! Fluffy’s owner scooped up her very first, favorite pet, and we were relieved to get through this real-time fairy tale “happily ever after.” THANK YOU, Jim and Kyle!! Sincerely, Rich and Alexandra Berg
