First of all, Home Depot is in a great location. Next parking is a breeze....The product desired is readily available, and if there is a question it can be quickly resolved by asking at the Courtesy Desk. The employees are friendly and very helpful. It you need help getting cumbersome items to your car, all you need to do is ask and a Home Depot employee will assist you. They have helped me out numerous times. It is a pleasure to shop at the Port Chester Home Depot.......

I stopped in for some household items but was on my way to purchase a dishwasher at Sears. I walked by the appliances and was approached by an associate who asked if he could help with anything. Well I never made it to Sears. He was so helpful and explained the great sake they were having. Not only did I get my dishwasher but with the sale I was able to get a new stove as well. Everyone at this store was friendly and helpful.

I always have a good experience at this store, even if I cannot find what I'm looking for. The people who work here treat you like a person. Nice folks.

I use this store as it is convenient and always has what I need. I am not a builder or contractor so only go there when I need something for around the house, but I can always get what I was looking for at that time. When I have needed help or an explanation about a product or help in deciding between two things there was always someone with enough knowledge to allow me to make the best choice. It is a store with building supplies, etc., so it has sawdust by the cutting saw and dirt in the garden area, but overall you can get a good shopping experience and find what you need.

I went to Home Depot for a specific item on my lunch hour. Immediately upon entering an associate assisted me in finding it. Check out was quick at a self service register and an another associate helped when the volume was too low. Fast visit. Got my items and was back at work on time.

I was pleased with the help from the young man in the cleaning products area. Without his help, I wouldn't have been able to reach the products I needed to purchase. The cashier, Venus, was so pleasant!!

We purchased a washer/dryer on this visit. Our sales associate was Norman and he seemed to be familiar with the different brands. He was very pleasant and explained the extra charges very well. We were not quite so fortunate with the cashier. It took longer for her to check out our purchase than it took to purchase items. Overall we got what we went to buy but spent way too much time in the store.

Got wonderful help from Greg Sutton with a huge plant, buying, carting, paying, and loading. He went way out of his way to assist me.

Store was uncluttered and sales associates were in plain site for help.

the store is very well stocked and the prices are good.. I bought a hoover vac I saw the same model on sale at PC Richards selling for $30 more and their original price was about the same as your was before the sale.

Found what I was looking for quickly. Cashier Abi was very friendly and quick.

I went to home depot in portchester ny to purchase a vaccum cleaner and the associate in the flooring department was very helpful .He explained all the features on the ones I was interested in.

Tremaine gave me a great deal of help, finding a clearance item in the grill department and loading into my car. I was expecting to spend $50 more, before buying a tank, cover, and scrapper.

I went to buy a sprayer nozzle for a garden hose. The item I wanted was not on the shelf. I asked an associate if there were more in stock. She scanned the shelf bar code with the laser gun and it showed that there were 99 in the store. However, she could not locate them. She asked another associate who said they need to find a manager to locate the item. No manager could be found and the second associate (not as friendly as the first one, in fact he acted as if he was annoyed that he had to attend to this matter) indicated that even after they find the manager it would take between 60 and 90 minutes before they could get one for me, assuming they locate the product. What's the point of having everything computerized if you can't locate the product? I left the store, went to my local hardware store. While I did pay a little more for the item, I was in and out in just a few minutes with no aggravation.

the lines at the return desk are many times long. there is usually only one person handling returns and it is a bit of a wait .

I HAD TO GET PROPANE REFILLS AND THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL WITH TAKING MY OLD TANKS AND PROVIDING REPLACEMENTS. I WILL DEFINITELY PICK HOME DEPOT FOR ALL MY FUTURE PROPOANE NEEDS.

The Sales Associate in the Appliance Department was very helpful and took the time to make sure I understood the product that I wanted to purchase.

Friendly associates at night time. Asked us if we need any help first. LOOKED UP PRODUCT IN COMPUTER TO SEE IF THEY HAD THE STOCK AND GENERAL PRICING.

We were on our own. We found one of the products through another customer recommending it, not through the associates. While one associate tried to help us, another was unfriendly and unhelpful. Not what we expect at Home Depot. We checked ourselves out with self-checkout so basically we handled the entire experience on our own.

Needed to pick up a few things to complete a small job. Got everything I needed in no time, got back to the job & knocked it out!!

Prices for outdoor patio and grills were very reasonably priced. I was excited but I was driving my own car. I hope to return to enjoy the lower prices seen here.

A nice man in paint department helped us identify the location of additional ladders since the one we came to purchase was not stocked on the shelf. He also arranged for the lift fork associate to meet us in the aisle where the back up ladder inventory was stored. He went above and beyond for us, even venturing outside his main department to make sure we got what we needed.

Henry, a project specialist, was totally customer-driven; very professional, knowledgeable ... a real seasoned vet and superb store representative
