Picking up your Curbside Order:

      Not only is this store well organized and well stocked, but you can always find someone to help you. The checkout lines are always moving efficiently. It is my “Go to” store. Kudos to Porter Home Depot for a great customer experience every time!!

          Disappointing Customer Service Experience
          When I visited the store to purchase materials for a fence job totaling nearly $1,500, I encountered several issues that made this shopping experience significantly worse compared to other home improvement stores. Initially, I needed assistance loading the materials since I was only with my mother at the time. After waiting for a considerable period, I was assisted by a helpful young man named John, who was the only employee willing to fulfill his job duties. As we began loading the materials, John requested assistance from another employee, but they refused. Despite this, John continued to help me load the materials. During this process, I overheard another employee make a disrespectful comment, assuming I couldn't understand English because I was with my mother, who speaks Spanish. This behavior was unprofessional and unwarranted. I eventually approached the assistant manager for help, who reluctantly assisted in loading the materials, making critical remarks about the amount of material needed. After a brief involvement, the assistant manager left without completing the task, leaving John and me to finish loading the materials ourselves. Throughout this ordeal, other employees made derogatory comments and laughed at John for assisting me, instead of providing the necessary support. Additionally, I had to repeatedly request assistance from multiple employees in the lumber department to bring down essential materials, which they only did after my interaction with the assistant manager. Overall, I am deeply disappointed by the level of customer service I experienced during this visit. As someone who regularly purchases materials from Home Depot for my company, I have never encountered such disrespectful treatment. The lack of assistance, unprofessional behavior, and disrespectful comments from multiple employees have left me questioning whether I should continue shopping at your store.

                    Associate ghosted me
                    I needed help with getting a key made. The employee pointed out proceeded to continue walking away as I followed. This employee seemed to move fast out of sight to get to the other end of the aisle. After I reached the end, saw the person go down another aisle. When I got to that aisle seconds later, employee was gone.
