Be sure to factor in the drive between the job site and the store, as you must bring it back to the same store you rented it from. You can return the tools early if you finish your project ahead of schedule, but on time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Yes, power saw rentals generally come with blades, but we do recommend that you purchase your own. You'll likely not get a sharp blade when you rent, as most people won't leave one on there when they return it. However, you might get lucky and have a sharpened blade on a tile saw, for instance. Since there's no guarantee, it's better to purchase a suitable blade, just in case you need it.

Yes, please fill up the truck before you return it. Note the original fuel level when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that same level. When you don't refill the truck, you have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be 21 or older. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck. Some tools and all large equipment requires ID verification via CLEAR.

Depending on your location, you can get large equipment delivered straight to your job site for a reasonable cost — whether that's at your home or out in the field. We'll need at least 24 hours' notice so we can adequately prepare your rental delivery for you, and you'll need to rent it for a full day.
