I needed help finding a flag for my flagpole for the 4th of July. Associate was extremely helpful with this and very knowledgable of items in the store. Self checkout was readily available and assistant was extemely helpful in this area. I was in and out of the store in a flash and on my way to the celebration events!

Your associates are the key to your retaining your present customers. They are well trained, knowledgeable and helpful. I much dislike fighting every visit to prove that I am a veteran because I do not have a VA ID card (because I( have no VA hospital experience). Almost drives me to Lowes. May one day.

Fast check out, nice salespeople. Found what I wanted and got out quickly. Convenient area with little traffic

Pleasant humans that are helpful when you need paint and wood! New Day is a great color and needed it to make me happy. Also needed new ice maker hose and they also had that! Now my martinis can be shaken not stirred. Will head that way again when I paint up all of my New Day and wish to have whole house a happy color! ~ Peace out and be safe on ladders!

They had the rocks I had tried to find at other stores. Within a few minuets of asking for help, an associate came with a cart, loaded the bags and went directly to the car! The cashier was very friendly. Great visit!

I ordered a refrigerator online but needed to return it because of a bad odor that wouldn't go away (after 3 weeks). I received authorization to have it picked up and to go to a local Home Depot to purchase another one. I was expecting a huge hassle and was delightfully surprised at how easy it was to make the return. The old one was picked up and a new one delivered at no charge.

The Hershberger Home Depot is friendly & welcoming - I visit there a lot - I joke that I am "Wiley Coyote" and the Home Depot is my "ACME Supply"! The staff recognize me by now and always have a friendly greeting. If you need help with a big project see Mark at the pro desk - he's awesome!

Having moved to the area recently, I needed some ClosetMaid shelving to match existing shelving. Home Depot came up in an Internet search and I called ahead to be sure my items were in stock. Arriving at the Roanoke Hershberger Rd. store I headed to the shelving dept. It did take me a few minutes to find an Associate to help me as there was no 'call button' for help in the shelving isle. Once found, the Associate was most helpful in helping me find the shelving I needed, the associated hardware, and even cut the shelves to the size I needed. A really great, helpful, guy. He also directed me to other isles to find other items I needed (picture hooks, rubber bumpers) to complete my shopping. Also, I could not believe, there was no waiting at the checkout...this was a Saturday afternoon. Checkout was quick, friendly, and flawless.

You don't have to search for someone if you need help. Everyone asks if they can help you.

Taking on a large remodel job for my kitchen and bath turned out much easier than I thought thanks to the selction of products and the incredible staff.

I usually am able to find whatever I need when I go to a Home Depot. If I can't find it, I know someone can direct me to it. Prices are very reasonable. Plus I have one very close to where I live . . . an added BONUS!

The associates at the Home Depot store in Roanoke, VA are very helpful and friendly. If you are doing a "DIY" project I'd suggest stating at Home Depot.

We have been loyal Home Depot shoppers for years. We have purchased everything from materials to build a large deck ourselves to paints & stains, appliances, pressure washers & tillers. Also, a LOT of gardening supplies.. The reason we continue to spend our money at Home Depot is their helpful associates. When we bought our deck materials last year, the gentleman who planned our deck & put together our materials was always available to answer questions & make suggestions. Our materials were delivered promptly & were well planned. We had visited several retailers to compare materials, costs & service. Home Depot was hands down the business most helpful & appreciative of our business. We can't recommend them enough!!!! So thankful for their help!!!

After a bad experience at another Home Depot store we took a long ride to this store for a large item that was on special. Thanks to store 4609, especially Deangelo, we were able to get our items and turn the bad experience around. Thanks again 4609!

DECK OVER WAS SO OLD IT HAD LUMPS IN IT VERY HARD TO MIX OR USE, STAIN HAD SCUM ON BOTTOM OF CAN, REMOVED IT WITH A STICK. COULD NOT FIND USE BY DATE ON CANS.

This is a typical Home Depot. I shop here because it has cheaper prices than Lowes, BUT with custpomer service Lowes has you beat.

I was replacing bed/bath door knobs in my home. I was looking for inexpensive and easy to install hardware. Found exactly what i needed, knobs were in my price range and installed in less than ten minutes each.

Had not been shopping in Home Depot for at least a year but will come back soon and recommend Home Depot to other DIY individuals.

As always when I go to home depot I always have fun there is so many things in there to look at and it make you just want to spend all day in there which I can the associates in there make you feel at home they don't follow you around in the store and if you need them they are always some where around and not hard to find I just love that place
