Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have any Spring Deals?

Another big spring sale is here, so get ready to save. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you want. Remember to check out our mulch, grills and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23/26 through 5/10/26 and enjoy your new products all year long.

Is it important to replace broken chimney caps?

Be confident your home is set for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home. On your home's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that can let water seep in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to snow and ice storms. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture freezes inside the crevices, you could be in for a headache.

Do you carry moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop in May 2026?

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future builders! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a trinket box with a sliding lid is a great way to exercise creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. This fun kids' project is happening on May 2nd, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
