Needed help finding a ceiling fan for our needs and we were greeted and helped by the most wonderful employee and will absolutely be returning to this location for any further home needs!

Hardware stores have a reputation for being short staffed. Not here! Staff members were readily available, and happy to help in all departments.

We ordered cabinets and countertop. Cabinets came in first delivery and out of 26 cabinets, 10 were damaged. Replacement was ordered but some were damaged as well. This went on for more that 2 months with a total of 7 deliveries. In addition, the measurement was off so 2 cabinets had to be exchanged. Keep in mind that we paid them $99 for them to come out and measure. After the cabinet issue was resolved I called to setup the countertop measurement and was told someone will call me by Tuesday to setup an appointment. Tuesday afternoon came and I called to follow up and was told to wait since it is still Tuesday. Wednesday afternoon came and still no call. It might seem silly since it is only a day delay but with I had gone through, I decided to cancel the countertop order. During all this we had extra parts that was ordered that we did not use and not needed. About to go through the refund process and noticed on our invoice some discrepancy. We were supposed to get a refund for the measurement since we went with their cabinet and that was not there. We were also supposed to get a free sink since we attended a presentation and that was charged to us. On the invoice after the total, it stated “refund owed” and instead of being subtracted, it was added on top of the total. So now I just need all of these charged and refund owed to me be credited back but that took multiple people and managers just to get it back. I was told I will get compensation for my trouble and in their eyes they have given me compensation even though the refund I got was only $2.79 over what I calculated that they owe us. I’m sure in their end it looks that way due to all of the damaged cabinets that had to be replaced and they said that the wrong size cabinet replacement cost more because the price of cabinets went up which is not my fault since they are the one that did the measuring. I know that some is my fault for not reviewing the invoice thoroughly but the designer assured me that it was there. Just glad that I finally got what is owed to me.

Jess in the Paint Dept is an excellent example of good customer service. She greeted me with a huge smile and a fantastic attitude. She was knowledgeable and helpful. She made my day.

This store needs to hire people who care and not 16 year olds that are just there and think standing around is a job

I have been shopping at this location for a long time. I am familiar with the layout. If I am having difficulty locating an item or section the associates are always very helpful.

Bought wood and a piano hinge at the store, when I got to check out, prices were over 40percent higher than the stated price.

I bought a few items and an employee knew sign language. I instantly felt a connection with her and worked together on getting what I needed.

I needed cable cut from a spool. They had another person just finishing up their order. Let me know it was a second until they were ready. Got a great price on coax.

I just bought a new heater for my house and works amazing.

Brian helped me out and looked to see if you guys had clear saucers, there were none on floor but he used the ladder the check the boxes up top even after I said it wasn’t that necessary. Even though they didn’t have what I wanted he showed me other choices that still satisfied me.

Associates are very kind and helpful from the moment you walk in. Store is very clean, well stocked, and organized. I bring my dog in and everyone loves to pet him.

The Round Lake location is always busy. That could easily foster an environment of stressed employees and emptier shelves but this location somehow doesn't have that issue. I always find helpful employees, even when its obvious they're attention is being pulled in multiple directions at once. Shelves are always nicely stocked and the areas always look clean.. I love this store!
