Helpful Experience!
The employees that I encountered at this HomeDepot went above and beyond to help me yesterday. They were also extremely knowledgeable in the products I purchased. The store was well stocked. I will definitely be shopping here again.

          I recently ordered kitchen cabinets at the store located at 611 SW Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78227and want to recognize Ms Christina, Design Consultant! She was so professional and knowledgable and able to design my dream kitchen cabinets. She was also patient with my schedule and budget. Great customer service and communication skills.

                LACK OF ASSITANCE
                HAVE HAD REMODELING DONE BOUGHT OVER $5000 IN MATERIALS AND HAD 1 GAL OF PAINT THAT THE COLOR WAS NOT MATCHED CORRECTLY MANAGER ON DUTY (TALL BALLHEAD) REFUSED TO GIVE ME CREDIT FOR ANOTHER ITEM I DID NOT NEED ANY MORE PAINT SINCE THE PAINT WAS RE PURCHASED AND JOB COMPLETED BY CONTRACTOR WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE

                  I live closer to another Home Depot but this store off of Marbach Rd is now our Home Depot. I take my children to the monthly kids workshops and they employees here are so much nicer than at the other store. Also I had to get some wood for shelves and the gentleman that helped me was just that so kind and HELPFUL. I don't go to the other Home Depot anymore for anything. I drive the extra miles for the service!

                    bathroom sink faucet
                    several years ago I bought a glacier bay two handle faucet for my bathroom sink. Unfortunately it developed a leak around the handle. I thought I could simply replace the valve cartridge but the replacement was built backwards so the handle turned in the wrong direction.I bought a single handle replacement which was so hard to install I gave up. Finally I bought a two handle replacement that was simple enough to install but ugly, plain jane and not very efficient.

                      So when I got there, Meredith, who is an employee at Home Depot appliance section greeted me and was very respectful and showed so much interest on what I wanted and what would suit me best. I was able to get a great deal all while saving time and money for delivery and installment. I purchased a refrigerator washer and dryer. All LG of course. (: Thank you so much, Meredith!

                                Staff here is not that helpful...
                                I remember trying to get a job here a while back but once the manager seen i was an African American she quickly said "sorry we are not hiring at the moment" meanwhile their is 14 opne positions at this particular store! The funny part is that she greeted me yesterday morning when I stopped by to purchase some items and she quickly turned around. Secondly the home depot app kept crashing yesterday morning so I wasn't able to use my QR code for the Military discount the Associates says to me "sorry I can't help you" I had to speak to another Associates and ask to speak to a manager!!! She says "how could I help you? As maybe I can help? Sure enough she asked for my Military ID and quickly put her codes in for the Military discount which saved me $6.00 we live in a world where every cent counts so why not help???

                                      The employee helped me with my purchase. Was very helpful, the cashier didn't want to be bothered. Not friendly and made me feel like I was interrupting her day. Unprofessional. As far as product and help zi received, I would recommend to a friend. It's a shame to have such a good experience only to leave with a bad taste in my mouth fro. The checkout.

                                        Just got an email asking for feedback on a trip I made to a home depot - where I left no contact information. Apparently they log your credit card, tie it back to your account, and track everything you do.

                                            Self service at home Depot
                                            Had ask other customers where to find certain supplies as there no available employees to ask. Then no choice but to self-check our purchases. This building supplies company is quickly becoming self service. Not what the original plan was. I know you used to hire knowledgeable people in all depts. Now, many employees have never work in construction or just act that way.

                                                          Few times if any do I request or accept help. Having that help leave and expect me to unload something from a pallet that was much less work to si.ply throw a few bags on to complete my order. 13 bags of 50lb cold patch asphalt on a pallet I only needed 7 more and was told if I wanted I could go get a cart from the parking lot and he would help load it. I did he left. 20 bags of 50 lb cold patch and empty promises on top of a $2 per bag cost increase.
