Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's on sale for the Spring Deals event?

The Home Depot Spring Deals sale is here to help you save even more. Save big on lawn and garden, including patio furniture, as well as outdoor power equipment. That way, you're prepared to enjoy the greenery and beauty this season. You can also get a jump on spring cleaning and DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on storage and tools. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. This spring sale runs from 4/23 through 5/10, so don't miss it!

Is it important to replace broken chimney caps?

Be certain your home is equipped for wild temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture freezes inside the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. On your house's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that could let water in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to snow and ice storms. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry small moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

Constructing a box with a lid that slides on is a great way to exercise fine motor skills, creativity, and listening abilities.
