Great store with location, staff, and customer service

My wife came with me to my favorite toy store, Home Depot, today. The Salem location just off the 22. We went in looking for a few items, including a small hand pump to drain the kids pool. I had planned on getting a hand pump to save a few dollars. The gentleman working in plumbing suggested a slightly more expensive pump when I explained exactly what I wanted to do. Comparing the price, the work involved and the specs on the powered pump, we went with the upgraded model. Tried it out at home and was THRILLED with our purchase. We also received quick and friendly advice looking for hooks to hang outdoor lights and a sunshade. We were thrilled to find everything we needed and, more importantly, lots of friendly and knowledgeable employees who were just fantastic. Salem Home Depot really impressed us today. We've already put several items to use and our yard is better for it.

If you're buying appliances in this store, I HIGHLY recommend you search out Christy. From her attitude with me, a tired, frustrated home owner dealing with a catastrophic weather event that severely damaged my home, I'm sure she'll brighten your day and make your efforts successful.

Went in for a washer/dryer set. Christy greeted me in the appliance area. Informed her of what I wanted, she asked me about all the extras. Applied for a store credit card and approved but not for the entire sale amount but it worked out in the end. Christy went over what to expect for delivery day and went over warranty information.

The kitchen design service/flooring service is excellent!

I was helped to locate everything I had planned to buy with help from very kind, courteous, very attentive to our needs employees. I always shop at Home Depot because the prices are very reasonable. The quality of their products are very good.

We find the sales representatives very helpful at this location. Also Garden department extensive and inspiring!!!

Everyone I met there today seems to be enjoying the work they are doing. Lisa at checkout was super nice and helpful.

Derek Holt together with Debbie Parton went out if their way to advise me on my purchase and make sure I had everything I needed. In so many stores the employees hide and are unapproachable with questions. Derek and Debbie wanted to help and got involved. Super Employees. If you need advise ask them!!!!!

I give credit where credit is due. Generally the employees at this location care about how their customers are treated.

The associate Rick was very helpful and took the time to help us find a fridge that fit in the space we have and met the specifications we want. He is sooo nice!! He does a great job!

All service personnel very product knowledgeable. Very friendly and professional. Staff helped us explore all options for unit we were looking at. Store very clean and well stocked but the staff make this store stand out.

Great price on quality product. Great customer service and even honored an expired coupon and saved me an additional $50 on my water heater purchase. Service with a smile by a well trained customer service employee. Just like in the old days.

The only reason I won't give this store more stars is due to the practices in the garden section. Spray painted plants, plastic flowers glued to cactus plants- this is an abhorrent deceiving practice.

I enjoy going to Home Depot as it is conveniently close and the staff wants to help. They do not lower their heads as they pass by you and they do not try avoiding you. They ask if your okay or if you need help. They make you feel like you matter and that speaks loudly. I always find what I am looking for or if not they will order what I do need.

The item we purchased was not in store, but will be delivered and installed on 1/2/2021. There needs to be a comment section added to the area I left blank for additional information.

My 5 year old daughter was carrying a burnt out light bulb that we needed to replace and she accidentally dropped it and it broke. She was very upset that it broke. The staff cleaned it up right away. She continued to feel bad about breaking it and an employee by the name of Oliver came over and gave her some candy and talked to her to help console her. That was very kind and helped make our shopping experience that day.

The people in flooring were very helpful and worked diligently to ensure I was getting the product I wanted for the space. Thanks Home Depot people!
