Good customer service

Ordered fencing to be delivered , On the day it was supposed to be delivered I checked to make sure it was scheduled , Yes sir, this was at at 8:15am, checked again at 4:55pm and ended up talking with 5 more people through the evening. They tried twice to deliver, we are trying to figure it out, (Manager) Nobody pulled your order, service manager we don't have any treated wood. what a disappointing day and at the suggestion of the service manager we cancelled the order.

I have been shopping at the same store for 25 years. I would surely not keep shopping there if I were not completely satisfied with the store. I have bought lumber, nails, screws, chain, paint and paint supplies, tools, pavers, lava rocks, plants, saw horses, and several other things. I might not buy as much due to advancing age, but what supplies I need, I will in all probability buy at #4006!

This store has some of the best customer service I've seen on a long time. I can't really put into words how much it means to me, to be treated like they care. From buying drywall, vanities, mirrors, carpet, trim, backsplash, and many many other things. Everytime I go in or even call I'm treated like they care. Thanks for always doing a great job.

I like the fact that employees there are always ready to help when called upon to do so, and that if they don't know the answer to a particular question, they will call for help themselves. That type of dedication to customer service you just cannot buy; it comes from proper and meticulous training, along with a dedication to the service that you provide.

Employees were rude. I got a few fans at 49.98 and the site said that price and the sign. The sign had clear words with the exact description of the fan and had the same price of 49.98. They rang up 69.98 and they didn’t believe me after I showed them online they had it in store and then they checked the sign and said it was wrong but they’ll do it. The lady put in the discount and gave me grief the whole time. It was pretty frustrating and got pretty upset. It made me mad of how they kept going and how she kept giving me grief after. It was really really annoying. I’m not going back to that one. I hear the excuse “oh it’s covid” I don’t care anymore. That’s no excuse to have the worst customer service and any fault. They just blame covid. Easy escape goat. No excuse for how they were so aggressive about being right. But still gave me the deal but they kept going.

Eryn in the Salem store was a pleasure to work with. Super helpful and friendly. She took the time to answer all my questions. In this day and age you don't always experience the level of customer service Eryn delivered. I can't express enough how impressed I was with her and her customer service skills, along with her knowledge of what my needs were.

All good except for time wasted opening an account to save money that didn’t happen! A little help from staff with heavy items for guys in their mid- 80’s would have been nice.

Today I was accused by a woman in the garden center of sneaking into the store. My family and I had gone in through the front doors and had been counted and let in. I explained to her that I had in fact come in through the correct doors and she had the gall to tell me that she SAW ME!! She insisted I go back out but I would not. I told her I was standing there because I needed assistance. She said she would not help me. I asked her to call management and she said "no, you can go in and find them" She REFUSED to help me with my question about bark dust and sod AND she REFUSED to call management for me. I have never been so humiliated in front of other customers. Shameful how this woman is allowed to treat paying customers. NO MORE!!

This store is efficient when it comes to the Pandemic precautions we are taking now. There are no unnecessary waiting times and the staff are all extra cheerful to ease the frustrations being required to shop in slow motion.

This Home Depot is good, if you know what you need and do not require any assistance. Finding a clerk for assistance has always been difficult at this store. The store is clean and we'll stocked.

Not all store employees wearing masks nor shoppers here ,,,Marion county and has the state’s up/tic in positive Coronavirus according to the Statesman Journal newspaper today. Come folks you may carry it but you may not get it. Think of us elder folks please!

Paul in the plumbing depart might have been the rudest person I’ve ever encountered in a store. He tried to not only intimidate as I shopped, he was also physically harassing me while shopping.

AS always, Home Depot #4006 Salem had exactly what I needed, and at a better price than I had anticipated..

Friendly customer service I love this location Close to home and convenience

I had a very unpleasant experience at the store at the online pickup/return desk on Sunday morning. I was trying to return 20 bags of concrete that I ended up not needing for a project, had unloaded it as instructed by the desk and returned to get my refund. A person at the desk seemed incensed that I forgot to grab my printed receipt when leaving my house for the store and suggested I go home and get my receipt. I knew that wasn't necessary and insisted she provide my refund. I felt she made no effort to hear me out on my online purchases and was putting her foot down about the receipt. I finally got my refund, partly to a credit card and the rest in a store credit, as the concrete had been ordered/purchased in two orders. If I'd had the chance to think about it at the desk, I would have remembered that I had email copies of both receipts that the desk person was requiring. Instead, I was embarrassed by the ordeal and frustrated that the desk person didn't offer right off to do what I knew they could do in providing a refund and being pleasant about it.

We live far ,Sweet Home Or. ,but needed a item only found at this Home Depot. As soon as we walked in they were very friendly, and we asked for area needed. They knew right where to go, made our time quicker.The cashier Lisa was the Best,very cheerful and helpful, knowledgeable on all our requests. I recommend this Salem Home Depot !!!! ( Yes Store Nice and Clean, organized too)

This visit was make great only because of the store associates. They were easy to find( I did not have to go Searching through out the store). They were knowledgeable, professional and customer focused.

As far as Home improvement stores in the Salem area Hager’s Grove out shines the rest. From the front door through checking out the staff is always very helpful when needed. They all know me and talk to me as I’m walking the isles and make sure I find what ever it is I’m in the search of. I have hardly ever not found what I need and I’m in the store several times a week or daily. Always a positive experience at this HD.

Today I could not use a gift card because the system was not working....might want to call the store prior if you intend to use any gift cards.....a real bummer.

I love The Home Depot! I can always find what I am looking for. They have plenty of helpful people to assistant people lost in the store like me (sometimes).

My time, like most all people, is very valuable. The Home Depot website allows me to assure that a product is available so I can go to their location and retrieve that wanted product.

The associates are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The prices and selection of goods are great! The only thing I would like to see improve at this location is the availability of pro-parking. Slanting the parking spaces would free up more space.
