Always have great experiences when I come to Home Depot. Knowledgeable staff, always a good supply of things I need and purchase. Curbside drop off is a gift; hands-on custom services, like trimming pieces of wood, is a godsend. Keep up the good work.

I have gone into this store over many years and for the most part the staff has wanted to lassist me with my project. I would recommend this location to anyone else who is looking for assistance with their project

It took 3 days, two wrong deliveries, twice being told that the sales person would be right back, leaving me waiting for 20 minutes when I realized they were never coming back, a mislabeled bin, a manager who figured out that the item would never be in San Rafael and ordered from El Cerrito. Treated as if I weren’t there so many times. I avoid Home Depot unless they are the only source

3 month delay, failure to contact installer, and incorrect order on interior doors. Internal miscommunication regarding pickup dates for another order.

This is a great store. Plenty of parking, easy to get to, and they generally seem to have whatever it is that I need. If I can’t find it, there’s usually someone around to direct me.

Sales staff great but terrible communication later from deluvery installation folks. Waiting all day no email or call as I was told

I ordered two beautiful five-shade lamps for myself and a friend. Each shade was a different color. They are very, very lovely. I have not yet had either one of them plugged in or installed in either home. I am sure that they will be very enjoyable!

The treatment of staff on my recent purchase was outstanding, in particular a gentleman by the name of Alex who assisted me with my purchase of bathroom tile. In addition to Alex, all of the staff involved were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Very skilled forklift operators loaded my truck.

Order 5 windows from HD. Delivery was 3 hours late. I tried phoning the store 8 times and let the phone ring for 2 minutes and no one would pick up. out of the 5 windows that were delivered 3 were damage and one had had bird poop on it. I will not shop in your store again

I’m giving a one star review only because I can’t leave a zero star review. I purchased $3000 worth of flooring from Home Depot and was promised an August 18th delivery, the material was in stock in the east bay warehouse . I had an installation crew and new tenants standing by based on this promise. The delivery date was changed to the 25th without notifying me. I only learned of this because the trucking company informed me it was being shipped from North Carolina. I was told by a HD employee my material was sent to another customer.

I went to the San Rafael Home Depot to pick up an item I ordered and paid for on line. I followed the sign directing customers where to pick up on line orders but was rudely corrected by a woman that I needed to line up in the return items line. I did not appreciate the way the employee handled the situation.

Ive been there 4 times in the last month ,and every time I was helped by the employees to find what I needed. The bathroom is finished and I'm happy with all of my purchases . The elderly check out lady,..so friendly,...I loved her,...as I'm 85 and still working too..!!

Really terrible service, aisles full of their cheap junk merchandise, no employees to help whatsoever. Thank you Home Depot, you're problem making plenty of $$$ off of this store.

Renante and William at checkout are cheerful, courteous, and helpful at the check at Home Depot. This makes Home Depot a nice place to shop!

The Garden Department is a real gem. The tool department well stocked yet pricey. The paint department has very high quality paints including Bher paints and spray paint too. The bad is not Home Depot it is a sad side of a society that has lost simple courtesy and manners, landlords and contractors are extremely rude including bad manners in restrooms and tailgating.

They made every step of the ordering online process very easy.

Robert Sanford at the San Rafael store is an excellent and reliable salesperson. He has served us in the purchases of all our appliances for 20 years. His knowledge and advice about all the brands has given us perfect results. Definitely recommend his service.

Michael Law in blinds was incredibly helpful and very thorough. He was terrific at explaining everything in detail. He took a lot of time with me. I’m very grateful for Michael.

Their checkout person in the Stefan has the worst customer service. Gives attitude and unwilling to help you. I asked a question about what we were charged and wouldn't even acknowledge the potential of an error and did nothing to help.

Every time I go visit at the Pro desk everyone is very helpful.

I looked up the parts I needed in the app and they old me there were many in stock at the San Rafael store. They were not there, or at least the staff I talked to (about 7) did not know where to find them. I wanted to buy the Telescoping Pole Pruner with Heavy-Duty Bypass Pruning Head

Service is basically non-existent there

I was in the San Rafeal store yesterday and they had 100s of plants that were about to be thrown in the garbage instead of being put on discount/clearance, or god-forbid-given away for free. It was disgusting. So many plants that could have been saved. I asked 2 employees about them and I could tell they both felt badly about it. Crazy wasteful practice, and we all knew it. Shame on Home depot. Put your plants on clearance and give them a chance.

Many employees are neutral, not friendly or engaging. Pietro on Returns is an asset to the store--upbeat and efficient and moving the line along quickly. Thanks!

Visited HD twice in four days and experienced the MOST fantastic, kind, helpful, knowledgeable assistance from four different male employees. Whoever does the hiring/training at the San Rafael HD must be complimented & congratulated on a job well-done!

I bought a 2 step toilet seat in a sealed box. My father installed it not noticing, but when I went to look the toilet seat was not only not the right one, IT WAS USED AND YELLOWED. This toilet seat was for children, and yet I was sold, and touched/installed a used toilet seat. When I returned it, the customer service agent admitted this was by FAR the grossest thing she'd even seen come back as a return. I was only given a very small credit back for this even though it is 1) disgusting and completely unsanitary and 2) I had to drive back and forth to Home Depot 30 minutes away to resolve the issue. I truly can't imagine anything more disgusting or indicative of what a disgusting poorly managed company Home Depot is. I probably should have tweeted this if I actually wanted to get some some of decent response for this issue.

I usually walk in and need someone to help find an item , but they don’t look at you so you have to call them to ask questions . Sometimes too it’s hard to find an employee in certain departments because they’re gone for a long time . Maybe a break or something?
