Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Spring Deals running?

That way, you're prepared to enjoy the greenery and beauty this season. Find low prices on storage and tools to kick off your spring cleaning and home repair projects early, before the heat of the summer hits. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with brand-new appliances, too. These special Spring Deals run from 4/23 through 5/10, so shop fast!

Is it important to replace broken chimney caps?

Be confident your home is set for wild temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. On the outside of your house, inspect shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that could let water seep in. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to winter storms. Also, check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture freezes inside the crevices, you might be looking at trouble.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project at the Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on May 2nd. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cute keepsake box that fits all sorts of treasures. Constructing this kid-sized trinket holder is a great way to encourage listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. Team up with your little one to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is decorating this unique box with stickers, so leave some time to place them just right.
