How do I choose a live Christmas tree?
Look for healthy green trees. A quality real Christmas tree shouldn't lose many of its needles when you shake it, and the needles shouldn't look patchy, brown, or dry. Also, check that your tree is free of disease and insects by examining holes or knots in the wood. For stronger trees able to hold up plenty of decorations, stick with a noble or Fraser fir, or Scotch pine tree. For allergy sufferers, the Nordmann Christmas tree is a good option. However, if you're allergic to pine, try a fir tree like a Balsam, Grand, Abies, or Canaan. Need more help making a decision? Learn more in The Home Depot's guide to finding the best real Christmas tree for your home.

Is it good to have a generator at home?
Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
