This was not my regular HD. Just happen to visit the store. My wife was having lunch with friends in the area. Found everything I needed. I was able to get assistance with location of items. The bathroom was much cleaner than other stores. Appreciate the effort.

Had what I needed and floor staff was fine. I go to many different Home Depots - my cashier was least friendly I’ve had.

Associates hard to find (understaffed) and NOT knowledgeable! At best, could locate COMMON products if I asked for them by name (and description) but had no idea which might be best or what advantage a given product might have over a different product that might serve the same purpose. (I am talking about things like gutter hangers - not highly technical or complex products that might require serious analysis!) Mostly nice people, but not useful.

There was plenty of parking. The store was clean, bright and well organized. The aisles were clearly marked for easy retrieval of items. The check out staff was courteous and quick. I am always satisfied when I shop at this home depot.

Huge pothole as you depart the parking lot reflects poorly on the store and is a major PR failure. The last impression of the store is a ruined front end and thousands of dollars in vehicle repairs.

Unfortunately the weekend help and management is lacking customer service skills very disappointed Not what I expected

Review of Rental Department. Rented a push mower. Only one of the few that rents out lawn mower. That's about the only positive I could think of. Let me talk about the mower I rented while my riding mower is being repaired. I highly doubt that city dwellers with small patch of lawn would even bother to check under the deck of this mower. That is what I just did when I took the mower home. The blade on this mower is so dull you couldn't tell which is the front or back of the blade. That's another 20 minutes of grinding a cutting edge on the blade before I could start using it. Thankfully, I fixed my own mower after that and never had to rent the item again.

Truly friendly and helpful team at this store! Special call-out to the friendly team at the Customer Service desk and especially to Al Abbas in kitchen design department. He provided us with “Above and beyond” help that left us smiling and glad we had visited the Somerville Home Depot for our kitchen cabinet order! (This 5-star service was in direct contrast to the truly BAD service we had received earlier today at the Salem Home Depot (hey there big guy in kitchen design, you know who you are, and you almost cost HD a longtime customer forever). If only we lived closer to the Somerville store we’d shop HERE always!)

I love this store. Yesterday I was buying supplies for several different projects. I spoke to three different associates in three different departments. They all answered my questions thoroughly and thoughtfully and Brendan the gentleman who checked me out could not have been nicer or more helpful. It’s always a pleasure to shop at this store.

I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know of an amazing employee experience that I had with Chris from the Somerville, MA Store (#2667). I went in this evening for help with some wood as well as advice as to how to repair my malfunctioning storm door. Chris went way above and beyond the call of duty. He escorted me through the store - and, his attention to The Home Depot brand was to be commended. When he noticed something out of place, or that someone had left an empty cup somewhere, he would address it. As we walked though the store I observed his excellent rapport with the employees which suggests to me that he was probably the manager. His friendly, yet professional, demeanor was contagious. Employees and customers in passing were reaching out to him and he managed to bring me where we needed to go while taking care of greetings, responding to questions, asking employees how things were going, etc. In this day and age, this type of attention to the needs of people seems to be a rarity and, as such, I thought it worth mentioning that you should strongly consider applauding the accolades of Chris and his commitment to your brand. There are many places to buy the things that you sell - though, based on my experience this evening, I will return to this store as a gesture of my appreciation to Chris for helping me. I had a photograph of something that I was trying to locate - though, when I explained to Chris what I was trying to do, he came up with a much better, and less costly, solution that worked! I fixed my storm door this evening. You should be thrilled to have an employee like Chris; he is truly an asset to your company.

This location use to be a nightmare it would take close to an 1 hour or more to purchase and go. It really has come a long way I commend the management team and employees very helpful. I no longer avoid this home Depot. I think Watertown store can learn something from Somerville. Thank You

Incredibly helpful staff and conveniently located

Everything I was looking for was easy to find and exactly where I thought it should be!

My experience in this particular Home Depot was surprisingly pleasant and fast. I only needed to pick up drinks for my crew for the day and was dreading doing it at Home Depot. Usually the lines are long and it takes forever to get a case of water and I didn’t have the time to spare. This was the good part of my day.

The store was great, I had a great experience from a super friendly and knowledgable employee, Cody in the garden department!

The staff in this store are very nice and helpful. The associates we met are very knowledgeable and friendly --- If you visit Plumbing Department, please find Hugo or Tom for help. I promise you will get professional assistant from them. The cashiers and customer service agents are very kind too there.

The garden center is great! The prices are really good & quality has greatly improved from the past. The staff is really friendly and helpful and always around if you need them. quick checkout, even on busy days, since there are several registers open. Big parking lot, no problems finding parking. Convenient location.

Great store...full of inventory

Somerville Home Depot has many experieinced employees in most departments who will help you find what you need without wasting time. Their cashiers are also fast, courteous and thorough. They get me through the line fast.

The staff in this store are always so helpful and really know their inventory! Always a pleasure to shop at this store. Al is particularly helpful! He has helped me on numerous occasions and he always goes above and beyond!!
