Have visited this store 5 times in the last 2 weeks. Redoing 2 bathrooms. Have found several of the employees that had the knowledge to find parts and items and had very courteous help. Actually had CUSTOMER SERVICE which is hard to find in any store these days.

I find that a trip to such a large material store, can be a bit of a chore. But compared to some of the other large stores the Isles are more open less clutter makes it easier to get through with the large material carts and the friendly staff is always willing to help and welcoming any questions you might have. I have been shopping the store now for years I will continue to do so and I suggest that you make this your store for all your home improvement needs.

I'd only recommend this store because it's the only Home Depot in the immediate area. Things have definitely changed in the past two years. The employees all used to be friendly and ask if we needed help finding anything. Now there's hardly anyone of them that even says "Hi". We have done a lot of shopping here in the past, but now we're looking at other home improvement stores for items. My last visit was for a return of two items that had nothing wrong with them but just didn't work out for our project. The young gal at Customer Service was sullen, didn't even look at the return slips and almost shorted me credit for the second item because she didn't bother to look at anything before tossing the box aside. She seemed upset with me when I brought it to her attention that there were two items returned, not just one. When I got home, I filled out a survey noting my disappointment with the visit. Then I looked at the receipt and saw the name was not a female name, but a male name, so the person whose name was on the receipt will probably get a poor review when he was not the person who waited on me. I will say I appreciated the lady in the garden area. She actually seemed very glad to see me. The store was clean, but seemed like everything was rearranged which made it difficult to find things. I was greeted warmly by the man in the Door/Window area, but he never asked if he could help me find anything.

Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and are always willing to help. Love this store!

The store was clean, Lora in the paint dept. was very helpful. My online order was also ready and conveniently retrieved for my pick up!

Loved the layout of this store. Everything was well labeled and easy to find. Employees went well above and beyond to help.

My item was a special purchase so they could not give me a Military Discount.

Kim at Customer Service was a lot more friendly than past visits. Debbie at Self Checkouts was outstanding. She greeted every customer who past and entered the register area. Debbie offered to help a couple of customers with large items.

The store is neat and clean. All associates I encountered greeted me with a friendly "hello" and asked if they could be of assistance. All the associates seem to be knowledgeable of store inventory and areas to locate items. All associates are courteous and friendly. I've shopped at home depot for several years and will continue to do so.

The store is always clean, staff is friendly and eager to help. I always prefer Home Depot over other stores. The service is so much better!

The Springfield store is very neat and clean, but the personal service has declined in the past couple years. Now no one greets you when you come in the store and the associates do not ask if they can help you when you're in their area. They've lost their helpfulness and friendliness. I like Home Depot's products and prizes which is why I would recommend the store. The fact that they are the only Home Depot in Springfield is another reason why I shop there.

The woman who waited on me was friendly and helpful, but there should have been a way for her to check and see if the items I bought were in stock. When I got outside to pick up the cement blocks I had purchased, I found that they were completely out. I was sent to customer service where I had to wait almost half an hour to be waited on. When I got home I found that I had only been given credit for one cement block. I called and was told the manager wasn't available. The woman who stood in for him on the phone was rude and unapologetic, and showed no sympathy or caring for all my inconvenience. She said I would have to come into the store to get the rest of my refund credited. Twenty-five miles of driving for a $1.58 refund! With my transactions in their computer system, there should have been a way to give me my credit over the phone.

Very clean and friendly employees!

I went to the store to place an order for a tool I had found online, I had to go into the store bc online wouldn't let me enter my gift card info to pay for the tool. The lady in charge of the service desk named Kim was horrible trying to help the young man named Gerald who had a few questions. Kim clearly isn't a person who should be up at the service desk and I seen that after only a watching 10 minute interaction of how she was supposed to be being helpful to a employee who needed assistance. So now my tool that was supposed to arrive may 25the isn't coming until June 4th an there's not a thing I can do about it. Great.. not hardly what I call good customer service. Rest of the store seems great tho but not recommending the customer service desk.
