Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Home Depot Spring Deals available?

Find some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that to-do list as the weather brings sunny cheer. It's also a great time for organizing your home with the perfect storage, doing lawn and garden work outdoors, and setting up appliances indoors. Remember to upgrade your outdoor power equipment and patio furniture as well. Get it all done when you save during our Spring Deals sale that runs from 4/23/26 through 5/10/26. Don't miss out on these bargains.

What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be confident your home is ready for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. On the exterior of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that might let water come in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent overflow from backing up into your home. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water gets inside the cracks, you could be in for a headache.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at the May Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a keepsake box! Your little builder can put together their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. Remember to leave plenty of time to decorate your box with stickers!

Does the Thornton Home Depot offer Curbside Pickup?

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with The Home Depot app. Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when you shop eligible Store Pickup items.
