Friendlyness of the associates and cleaniness of the store

Great produts. Awesome pricing, user friendly website and easy find and fast checkout

sales associate in the mailbox area on 07/16/15 was so good she made me spend more than I intended but I realize it was necessary added expense I would have to spend with no more back and forth trips to the store I loved that and the willingness to assist was so good I went to the cashier very happy so happy I forgot the other items she suggested until I got to my car and I went back in to purchase the other items.

I was surprised to see the extremely clean store. On this early Friday morning, about 9:30 am, I found Gary in the lumber department to be eager to help me and answer my questions and help me select the pieces of wood that I needed. When I rolled my wood out the door, Greg was extremely nice and helped me by loading the wood on the truck for me. I am 73 years old and help like this is always appreciated. These are two fantastic men.

I was happy to see the store neater and cleaner than any other time in the last 6 years. The floors were very clean. There was little or no stock in the aisles. There were no free standing sales units in the aisles. The store seemed cleaner, neater, and therefore, larger. I had the feeling that finally someone cared about the store. I found it far easier to negotiate the store and find what I wanted. Because of that I spent more time in the store and purchased items that were not on my list. I am guessing that I spent almost twice as much as I had originally planned to do.

Take someone with you, stand in line, have them fetch product. That is my one liner for this location. And seriously, one of your employees is all that is needed to collect carts from the parking lot, maybe pick up some trash too for better appearance. Finding products and floor associate knowledge was acceptable. Friendly and nice, but did not go out of their way to help, as they did as little as possible. They saw me (2 associates), but never greeted until I waved them over or said, "Hello" first. They were able to point several isle down, "aisle 13 on the rightside", which in turn had me spend the next 10 minutes walking up and down the aisle to find said products. As I approached the check out lines... all of which had at least 2 customers (no big deal), I thought I would advance to a line with one customer and few products. They wrapped up, neither of the 2 associates at the register "noticed" me nor said any greeting. One left, assuming her shift was over or break, the other stammered her way to the touch screen and for the next 7 minutes could not remember her cashier password. In these 7 minutes, literally completely ignored my existence. I was ready to walk out, but really needed these products that day. I contemplated leaving and going to another competitor miles away... and I just may next time. At any rate, still not greeting me, she scanned my items, noted the amount, handed my change and I left into the parking lot of horror. I felt like I was back in High School drivers education class, but instead of cones, orange carts. This location is 1/4 mile from my doorstep, but I would almost rather order online or go to a competitor in the future. Seriously this has been my worse HomeDepot experience in the 10+ years I've been shopping at HD.

I would like the kiosk to have the military discount option.

Grant was a most gracious and helpful person. The product I was looking for is a bit unique and not known by most associates. I knew HD stocked the item. Grant had to look it up on the computer to find its location in the store. He took my straight to it and picked out the exact number of items I needed.

Great Associate in plumbing accessories. He took the time to answer the questions for myself and 2 other people in a pleasant, simple language. Then 2 additional associates helped me with scotch tape for my receipt. Satisfied, happy customer

I had the pleasure of checking out with an Associate by the name of Armando. He was so kind, helpful and he made me laugh!! He in my opinion is a definite asset to the Home Depot company!

I did not have time to look around as the plumber was at my home completing a job. I came in immediately saw an associate asked for help and got it. I was very grateful.

Store always clean with assistance avail by looking as help is needed.

Many of the store associates are friendly, helpful and courtious. I was impressed today that the store was cleaner and neater than on previous visits. There is the problem of not being able to easily find associates to help. It seems as if there are not enough associates to help when you need one.

Very good experience today. Store was clean, associates were helpful and I found everything I needed.

Although I knew what I was purchasing and where to find it in the store, I was unable to reach it on the shelf. It took a few minutes to find an available associate (I saw three who were engaged with customers) once located, the associated assisted me immediately. Not only did the associate help get the item off the shelf, he answered other questions regarding the location of merchandise.

Overall, the story looked clean and neat when we entered the store. When we walked over to the area to pick up our product, there were several store associates in the area helping other customers. As soon as they finished with a customer, they reached out to other customers to provide assistance. They were very helpful and friendly. The store associate at check-out wasn't rude but he lacked the "come back to see us" skills that I have received many times at this and other Home Depots. Maybe he is a new associate, but I believe that good customer service from the beginning to the end of the visit contributes an increase in return visits to your store.

I shop here all the time. It is close to home, always has what I need, and the staff is friendly.

Ms. Melanie and another associate (name cannot recall) were very helpful in Garden Dept. My only complaint, the prices are not displayed very well. I had to continually ask how much a product cost because many were not posted. I found your associates to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the products in their departments. I would hope their attentiveness was a sincere part of their personality and not attributed to awards and bonuses for getting me to make more purchases. I was being shown more products than I was interested in. However, if it was all feigned, it worked - but I do not like to be manipulated.

Reed and the other associates in the appliance section were extremely helpful to us during the process of buying all our appliances for a kitchen renovation. Reed could not have been more service oriented and helpful to solve our issues and get us the appliances needed when we needed them.

The sales associates that I spoke to during my visit were very pleasant, helpful, and informative.

This store has several good associates that know their stuff, are friendly, give the extra effort to help and care about the store. Allen, Glenn, Adam, Les and Joseph are the great "go to guys". Find them to help you and you will be most satisfied.
