I remolded my kitchen and needed a 40” wall Mount stove hood, the contractor only had stainless steel and 36”. I said let me research and I found the perfect 40” in White to match my 40” Wedgewood Stove (1952) very happy. Shipping was fast from Texas to California in less than a week.

I usually shop at this location because it’s close to my home and normally what I’m looking for they do have in stock so I’m grateful to have a location so close the employees are pretty friendly

They collaborated and coordinated to correct the mistakes in my quote. I appreciated their personalized assistance and respectful attention to my needs. I was greeted at the door and I was flagged down and asked if I needed help. I was able to get what I needed and the product was great. The customer service was by far the best I’ve ever seen at a Home Depot. It’s like this every visit here.

Manager Michael and everyone at the returns desk are amazing, hardworking, reasonable, and go out of there way to guide you to what you need. I’d take them all to dinner if it were possible because they guided me through a five year build. I won’t go to another store because no one compares.

i came in through the big opening and asked the cashier Gaby for help finding some items and she was super helpful in directing me to the correct area!

It was nice to see more employees working in the store and helping more people.

Mainly there for nursery but when i went through store it was very dirty. Items all over blocking rows. Just feel unwelcome there

I like shopping at this Home Depot location in Union City California. Cheerful spring flowers and shrubs greet me before I enter the store. I always buy a few pots for my garden. If I need something to find the stuff quickly help me and sometime take me to the right shelf. I have been buying here for more than twenty years. I just figured it out. Great store for everything I need.

Bad lazy people don’t go there!

Everyone is great whenever I go in the store. Especially electric and plumbing are the 2 best I speak with and they know exactly what I need.

More on hand service is needed for better shopping experience and choosing the correct product to complete the project in process. It would also a great help if the paring area is kept in better condition, as at times it’s not in ideal condition.

Our fridge broke down 2 days before Thanksgiving. We need one asap. We went to Home Depot in Union City to shop for one since their price is less compared to others. We ran into Kiana Walkers, who helped us pick the right fridge for us. She has excellent customer service skill. She was willing to spend the time to explain and share her knowledge about different fridges with us. Thanks Kiana! Btw, the delivery company, Tempco (Home Depot uses them) is sucks! They damaged our property and damaged the brand-new fridge. Because the improper tools were used. Instead of carrying the fridge, they were pushing it on our hardwood floor. They damage our front door frame too by hitting the fridge against it. I shared the property damaged pictures to Home Depot manager; Janine who helped us filed a claim against this delivery company. Janine customer service was excellent too. Man! this Home Depot have good customer service. It is now our to go store for appliances shopping.

This store is bad with costumer service, the employees are most of the time and a bad mood not willing to help.

It took a while before someone came to assist in opening the locked shelves. I used the QR code displayed on the shelves but received no response. Therefore, I asked a cashier to send someone to unlock the shelves so I could get the item I needed. What is the use of the QR code to get assistance if the store does not follow it? Home Depot needs to do a better job in this area.

Everyone here is helpful, so this has become my favorite Home Depot location. I would definitely recommend this location.

I bought Ryobi leaf blower. Very lightweight and does the work for me. I used to rake all the fallen leaves and exhausted afterwards. I am happy I bought the Ryobi battery operated leaf blower. Its so much easier. I appreciate both associates Kimmie and Nate. They are helpful and attentive.

The parking lots are full of trash and in the bushes as well Homeless is sleeping in non registered cars

I purchased custom doors, windows and two skylights from HD #0635 from sales person Jerry. I received outstanding service from a friendly, kind and very helpful person. If you need custom millwork, windows & doors, see Jerry for great service.

I purchased two patio screen doors online, for pickup at this Union City CA store. I brought them to Pittsburg CA (an hour away) to install there. They didn't fit, so I tried to return them to the local Pittsburg HD store. They would not take them because, they said, Union City gave me the wrong doors. The SKU on the doors did not match the SKU of the doors in my online order. They said I had to bring them all the way back to Union City to return them. That was extremely inconvenient for me because I had to borrow a truck from someone to bring it back there. Also it violates HD's return policy, which says "Simply take your purchase back to ANY HOME DEPOT and get your money back instantly." To avoid the hassle I volunteered to do the return at Pittsburg, as if I had no receipt. I would lose money, but avoid having to borrow the truck. Pittsburg store manager tried that, but HD computers refused the return. That, too, is ridiculous, since in 20 years of buying stuff at HD, I've only returned stuff without a receipt maybe twice or three times. I'm as trustworthy a customer as they'll ever have. I asked Pittsburg store manager what she was going to do to placate her justifiably irate customer. She said the Union City store would have to do that. Thanks, Cheryl. HD is one company, and they own all their stores. There is no reason that one store should not be able to correct an error made by a different store. If your accounting procedures don't permit that, then change your accounting procedures. Don't make your customer suffer for your error merely because you are too lazy to fix your software.

Every time I visit this store for my business I look for my same employee and she is always friendly and spot on

I had a great experience at this location. I’ve been to many Home Depot’s, but this customer service lady is doing a fantastic job and more Home Depot’s need to have her attitude. She was genuine and I will be back looking for her to help me in the future

There were many workers there and walking around when I needed help to get a set of keys, no one would help me with the machine that requires a worker to help. We asked the customer service desk people two times and they said they would call someone both times and still no one showed up. They did not take initiative to help us real quick. We waited about 10 minutes each time we asked for assistance after they called someone, and after the 20 minutes we just left. Customer service just needs to be worked on.

I worked with Home Depot Design Consultant, Jun Amonoy on a new quartz countertop. He was knowledgeable, professional, and nice. I had sent him a picture of my kitchen and my old countertop measurements. He was ready with the estimate and explained it well. I purchased the Cambria Quartz countertop in color Chatsworth, a beautiful modern Ruvati sink, and a garbage disposal. Thank you Jun for taking the extra time with recommendations and listening to me.

Rose was amazing up front @ the checkout kisok, she helped me get everything I had in my cart and yes she went the extra mile and I really appreciate that! Oscar was very helpful when I was looking for a glass cutter (which we didn't find) but he always was cheerful about it. And of course I appreciated the time they took to get me squared away for my purchase today. Kudos to Rosie and Oscar!
