I really enjoy shopping at the Vauxhall Home Depot.

The box was damaged. It was the last one so I took a chance. Had to get a replacement part so I went to a my local hardware store. I could have taken it back but dealing with the traffic in and out of HD's parking lot and expediting my problem just wasn't worth the time and effort. Live and learn.

I needed a mini refrigerator in a hurry and spoke with Brian who was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I purchased the item I needed which was on sale. I am completely satisfied with this experience.

It is evident that the organization values outstanding customer service. The employees greet you with a smile and professionalism.

The lot guy @0954 location was highly effective at making my experience an enjoyable one. Ahmad Jackson is his name 🤫🤯

This is my home store. I buy nearly everything I use for fixing up my parents' house here, and I've only recently started having issues. Apparently, this location denies that HD has a price match guarantee, even though it's clearly stated on the HD website, and even advertised in the store itself. I was told to leave when I asked associates to honor a price match guarantee request, meanwhile an hour later I was able to talk to customer support and get my item price matched without issue, even with same day pickup. This store has some seriously questionable stuff going on.

I had a consultation about replacing my cabinet doors, kitchen counter, sink and faucets. I wasn’t impressed with the options offered in the catalog that was shown to me, but found something online at Home Depot that I could work with. My salesperson said that manufacturer only built whole cabinets. I contacted the company who told me that was not true, and they did replacement doors. When I looked at the proposal for my kitchen, I noticed that the color indicated for the faucet and pulls was a champagne gold as opposed to brushed brass. I told him I found it online at HD in brushed brass, and I was told that the manufacturer only issued it in champagne gold. Finally, I said I wanted a fireclay sink, but I was told that he was only able to do stainless steel, and I would have to buy the sink separately if that’s what I wanted. Finally, he had in the proposal that I wanted a farmhouse sink, when I actually wanted an undermount. In all fairness, we had discussed that option, so perhaps that was a misunderstanding.

Bought an appliance for 12 mo deferred payment when I got my statement I was billed one time because of the mistake of the associate . Called the store they said couldn’t reverse it was their mistake on the first place. Very disappointing.,Unfair and very Unhelpful!

You guys have horrible cashiers. None of them want to work and all of them are unfriendly. These are the people you deem more qualified than those who actually have great customer service experience? Hilarious. They literally get an attitude when you ask them questions. I didn't want to do self checkout because I believe it takes jobs away from people, but when I told the lady at the beginning of the line that, she rolled her eyes and said, "yeah, we don't do self checkout anymore". Like she was really upset about having to work. Wow.

It will be nice I get my installation refund back is been more than a month

I am so pleased with the flooring I purchased and the installers did a great job. They were careful and cleaned up the same day.

I always find that the workers in this store are very helpful! The store is always clean and organized! There are a couple of HD that I can visit but this is my favorite location!

They literally hire people that know nothing about home improvement/outdoors etc......and when you find someone they admit they don't have a clue and don't walk you to the aisle because they don't even know where products are. They go on there little computer devices and still cannot assist. It's a waste of time even asking for assistance anymore, so I just walk the aisles myself to fund the product. Terrible store Vauxhall is. Feel bad writing this because they use to be good before their hiring practice changed. Interview, you are a human being....ok, you are hired. Disgusting!!!

Only one cashier while checking out made it difficult to use the pro checkout. The regular self checkout had seven or eight people waiting with no cashiers only people telling you which self checkout to use.

Staff is nice but need to be knowledgeable of products being sold

It seems like I end up at this Home Depot almost every weekend. I'm not a professional or anything, just a homeowner who always has an improvement or repair project going on. This is one of the best Home Depots I've shopped at, and I'll tell you why. First, this store has a great selection. They almost always have what I need in stock, and if something is out it gets replenished quickly. You can also order tons more items from the app or HD website and pick them up at the store within a few days. The employees at this store are very helpful too. There's always someone within a few aisles who can answer where to find a product, or even give advice when I'm not 100% sure about what product to use or how to go about something. My kids always give me a hard time when I say I'm going to Home Depot, because they know I'll be gone for at least an hour. What can I say, I just love walking the aisles and chatting with the staff. I always end up getting everything I need (and usually a few things I didn't plan for). And for the times I truly get the wrong thing, the return desk is well staffed and returns are quick and easy. This store even has a rental desk when I need to borrow a major tool or truck. That one could use more staff on the weekends, but during the week it's usually not an issue.

THEY TREAT THE CUSTOMERS RIGHT AND THE STAFF IS HIGHLY KNOWLEDGEABLE IN THE VARIOUS AREAS. THE ADVICE I GOT SAVED ME A LOT OF MONEY.!

I needed various lightbulbs . No one helped me

Really big, but it doesn't have everything.. still, plenty of basic selections and a garden center and tool rental. Lots of wood and some machines for cutting worked (wood, but not blinds).

trash services were horrible..... zero star.

The generator guy was too pushy.

Linda, Hasanah and an amazing manager with light eyes (whose name I did not catch) in your customer service section helped me get a grill purchased and delivered same day on a busy holiday weekend! They even chased me across the store to tell me they had a solution. They went above and beyond to help me for no reason other than that they are lovely and kind human beings. I am very grateful.

Everyone was willing to jump in and help with any and everything I needed help with. Love being in an environment of positivity!

I bought a product and it rang up higher than the shelf price. Aside from the runaround you go through to get a price correction, they didn't bother to correct the price on the shelf. They had no problem continuing to charge customers more than the posted price. Check your receipt VERY carefully.

Unlike the other nearby box store I'll not name, this store is clean, and the parking lot also. Carts and dollies readily available. Cashing out is prompt and the cashiers are friendly, professional, dressed appropriately. It was only a couple years ago, I was very annoyed hearing irritating, loud cackling and inappropriate conversations from the cashiers as I waited in line. It's a pleasure to shop at HD Vauxhall, and better than Rt 22 Union. Living nearby, I frequent this store often and I do take notice of services, my surroundings and interactions.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT THE CHECK OUT. CHECKOUT PERSON STARTED MY ITEMS THEN ABRUPTLY WITH THE SCANNING DEVICE IN HER HAND WALKED DOWN TO HELP ANOTHER CASHIER LEAVING ME STANDING THERE AT THE CHECKOUT STATION. WHEN SHE CAME BACK SHE SCANNED THE FORST ITEM AGAIN AND WHEN I TOLD HER THIS SHE SAID NO SHE DIDNT SCAN IT. YOU DON'T START TO CHECK OUT A CUSTOMERS ORDER THEN ABRUPTLY WALK AWAY WITHE THE SCANNING TOOL AND LEAVE THE CUSTOMER STADING THERE !!! SHE RUSHED CHECKING ME OUT AND I HAD TO WHAT ABOUT MY DISCOUNT ??? SHE APPIED IT WAS UPSET SAYING SHE DID NOT HAVE TIME TO DEAL WITH ME!!! AS I STOOD THERE DOUBLE CHECKING MY RECEIPT SHE SAID YOU DIDN'T GET DOUBLE BILLED!!! I TOLD HER I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO STAND THERE AND CHECK MY RECEIPT FOR ACCURACY!!!! YOU DON'T RUSH CUSTOMERS BECAUSE YOU ARE BUSY!!! YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL TO CUSTOMERS. I DON'T KNOW HER NAME OR I WOULD SURE PUBLISH IT RIGHT HERE.

Carmen at the Pro Desk is professional, knowledgeable in flooring and gates etc. She provides above and beyond customer service. The store is extremely fortunate to have her as an employee. She has manager attributes and is an esteem leader.

Everyone was helpful and the store is robust in the different items and services to choose from.

Amazing that they transformed this store for the better. I saw footage of the extensive floods which over took the store and general area some years ago and HD rebuilt for the better. I liked how they have now kept the stray tractor trailers from parking near the exit.
