What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
The adjusted hours give stores the ability to staff appropriately and provide additional time to restock shelves and perform cleaning. As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

The service is always good and the advice is always useful. When I bought 12 privacy bushes for my yard four of them died within the year despite my best efforts. I not only got my money back for the dead bushes , but I was given an extra $25 dollars to install new bushes. While it was still an aggravating situation, I appreciated the extra installation money. However, I would like to suggest that the store get a new vendor. It seems to me that if eight can survive, the other four should have as well. Another vendor problem this year has been with the petunias. I bought two hanging baskets a short time ago. This week I had to throw them out since the leaves kept turning yellow and new flowers were not coming out. In the past, I have bought Depot's petunias and they have done very, very well. So I was disappointed this year. I bought petunias from another seller in town and they have done well.

I I almost always go to Depot because it has almost everything I need. I find many things with the help of the associates. The associates are always helpful and kind. I repeat..please take the displays out of the aisles as they often hide the shelves and they get in the way when trying to pass with a cart, especially when there are other people in the aisle.

No help showed up to load our trailer with lumber and wire . We waited 30 min in the parking lot and finely loaded it ourselves. My husband had an awful time and so did I. They should be ashamed, take care of the sr. Also !!!!

Garden center employees could not be bothered to look for additional garden fencing when shelf was empty. Only when customer service walked back to department and stood there did associate go to back of store and retrieve fencing. Customer service rep A+. Regular garden department employees F-.
