Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have any Spring Deals in 2026?

Another great spring sale is here, so prepare to save money. Whether you're upgrading your home with new appliances or just doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools, we've got what you want. Be sure to check out our mulch, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products all year long.

What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be certain your home is ready for wild temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If moisture freezes inside the crevices, you could be in for a headache. On the outside of your house, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that may let water in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in May?

Head to our Kids Workshop from 9–noon on 5/2/26. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this cute keepsake box that fits all kinds of treasures. Constructing this kid-sized trinket holder is a great way to encourage fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. Team up with your little one to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is decorating this unique box with stickers, so leave some time to place them just right.
