Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a spring sale?

Another big spring sale is here, so prepare to save. Whether you're upgrading your home with new appliances or just doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools, we've got what you need. Don't forget to check out our patio furniture, grills and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products year-round.

Is it important to replace broken chimney caps?

Make certain your home is ready for wild temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On the exterior of your home, examine shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that can let water in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Do you offer moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

Which project will be featured at the free Kids Workshop?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople and builders! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a box with a sliding lid is a great way to sharpen creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. This fun kids' project is happening on May 2nd, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
