Mutual Industries 6 ft. x 300 ft. Black Non Woven Filter Fabrics are an economical alternative to graded aggregate and sand filters. They can eliminate many of the problems associated with using, purchasing and transporting aggregate. Non-woven geotextile is also used as asphalt overlay fabric. Overlay fabric increases pavement life by providing a solution for reflective cracking. In addition, non-woven geotextiles are used in landscaping applications such as fabric to retard weed growth. They are also useful for separation, performing well under such diverse applications as paver walkways or railroad track. As cow carpet, they provide farmers with a solution to mud problems and improve animal health.

Can you use this to repair the belly fabric under a trailer?
No, you are looking for woven fabric, this is non-woven. Woven is just a breathable liner that is similar to a tarp, you can see the weaves. Non-woven is like a scouring pad.
Is this fabric punched ?
This is not exactly an answer but a further question prompted by the 1 answer. In the "Highlights" section of the product "Description" it's stated, "...needle punched and heat set". So which is it Mutual Industries, yes or no?

For French drain usage, what size of perforated pipe is this designed for?
You can use 3 or 4 inch. I typically use triple wall perforated pipe instead of the flex pipe. Dig your trench about 1-1.5ft deep and 1 to 1.5 feet wide, sloped 1-3% to where you want the water to go. Place fabric in trench bottom, sticking up on both sides. Place pipe in bottom of trench with holes down. Put 1 ft deep drain rock gravel with no fines in the gravel. Fold the fabric over the top of the gravel, making a burrito wrap out of the fabric around the pipe and gravel.
Does product comply with AASHTO M288 Class 2
It does not it is a general non spec 3.5 oz nonwoven
Can this be used as a weed barrier under artificial turf?
I used it in my garden last season and by the end of the season I had weeds and grass growing through it. This year is much worse. I do not recommend this product to keep weeds and grass down.
I would not imagine so for commercial purposes. A home owners backyard...sure.
