Our greenhouses are made in China.
Are the shelves removable or is that the support!?
The shelves are individual pieces.
The backs of the shelves are the outer frame, so removing the front sections will probably reduce stability.

What is the thickness of the plastic cover?
Very thin
It's a thicker than standard plastic sheeting, but feels like vinyl. It's heavier duty than I expected for the price.
Does the cover have grommets in it to anchor it to to the ground with stakes
No, it doesn't.
No, there are no grommets or holes, but the cover is a couple inches longer than the sides, so there is plenty of material to tuck under the frame or extend out beyond the frame.
There are hook to attach the rope to that will then attach to the stakes in the ground. This will securely anchor the greenhouse to the ground.
I want to get a greenhouse to keep the critters away from my veggies. I was ready to purchase this but while looking at it, now I'm afraid the critters will be able to push the flap open and "help themselves"
The door closes shut with zippers that will completely protect your plants, no need to worry about that.
Ye, it has zippers that seal it shut, but the zippers are not very substantial and go bad after about a year. You have to replace the whole cover if that happens, and that costs about half the price of the complete product.

Not very well. It is very light weight but suitable for South Texas.
This greenhouse does not regulate temperature. You will need to put in a heating device to regulate the temperature for the plants when it gets cold.
