Hello, we don't have hanging chains that are longer than 24 inches in our inventory. We can send you hanging chains that are 24 inches long instead. Please contact our customer service team: help@cooknhome.com if this alternative works for you.
Hooks can be moved in any position along the wood bar.
I would o to your local Home Depot store & see if they can order some extra hooks. The employees are very helpful at my Home Depot.
Hate to say it, but at this time good luck getting more. I visited Cooks Std. website; both reg. and swivel sold out. Wanted to know beforehand, as 6 isn't enough.
You need to make sure to find the ceiling joists for the hooks that get screwed into ceiling. Hooks MUST be secured into ceiling joists. if not pot rack will collapse. Use a Stud Finder to find ceiling joists. Besides that everything else is simple.
1. Measure product length. Find 2 joists in ceiling about the length of the product and mark the two spots. 2. Screw 2 ceiling/joist hooks into marked spots 3. Put one end of each of the two hanging links into each celing hook 4. Put 2 metal spacers (one on each end) and one wooden spacer (in the middle) of two parallel bars. Using the three bolts, tighten the two bars through the spacers. 5. Hook one end the two W-type hooks to the 2 metal spacers (one on each end of bar) and the other ends to the hanging links 6. Put the swivel hooks between the 2 bars.
I hired my neighbor who works on houses to install it above the sink with the hooks that came with it.
When I installed them in our kitchen I used a stud finder to make sure i had something solid to hold the rack up. Its been hanging for over 2 years now with no problems.
No, these are only in stock online
We ordered ours online from the Home Depot. You can either have it shipped to your store for pick up or have it shipped to your home.
Yes you can buy extra hooks. I bought 4 more to add to our pot rack.
I bet if you contact the company directly they'll sell you some more. If item is small enough you could potentially hang two items from one hook (I doubled down with cutting board and stainless measuring cups)
The details were included with mine. Through their website.
Please google search " Cooks Standard 02567 Pot Rack Solid Cast Swivel Hooks" you will get several online retailer sell this item.
You might be able to talk to a Home Depot employee & see if they can order some for you. The employees are very helpful at the Home Depot I shop at in Federal Way, Washington.
