Questions & Answers
Is the trench drain cover included with the purchase of the shower pan
Hi Javy, You’re correct — the drain cover/grate is included, but the shower base does not include the full drain assembly underneath. The unit provides the base with the drain opening, and the plumbing drain components must be purchased separately and installed by the contractor/plumber. If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us directly at the number 866-588-8008 Eastern time from 9:00 AM to 6:00 pm
is this slip resistant
Hi Showerpan, Thank you for your interest in our Tiers Base Series. Yes, this shower pan features a textured, slip-resistant acrylic surface designed to provide added safety and better footing while showering. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us at 866-588-8008, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM ET.
Does this pan get screwed in
Thank you for your question. Yes, this shower pan is typically secured during installation, but it is not simply screwed into the floor through the base. Instead, it should be installed on a level subfloor with a mortar bed or manufacturer-approved support base, then secured to the wall studs using the flange and properly sealed. Always follow the installation instructions for correct fastening and waterproofing. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us directly at 866-588-8008 Eastern Time, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Does this unit have a slope on the shower pan?
Hi Espie, Thank you for your question regarding model SB-AZ03RD. If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please feel free to give us a call at 1-866-588-8008, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM EST.
Does this pan has a slope?
Thank you for your question. For any additional questions or assistance, please call us at 1‑866‑588-8008, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST.
Mine came with a drain assembly. What type of drain is it? How do I connect to the riser? There are absolutely no directions on the drain assembly.
Thank you for your question! This shower pan comes with a standard center shower drain designed to connect to a 2″ waste pipe. To install, align the pan over your drain pipe, slide the drain assembly over the pipe, and use the included gasket or plumber‑approved sealant to ensure a water‑tight fit. For any questions or guidance, call us at 1‑866‑588‑8008, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM EST.
