Is the coating to reduce buildup on both surfaces of each door? Does is matter which side goes to the inside of the shower?
The ClearMax coating will only be on one side of the glass and this side of the glass will have a removable blue ClearMax logo decal stuck to it when you take the glass out of the box. Make sure you do not remove these stickers until after the glass doors are installed and please be sure that your installer installs the glass with the sticker side of the glass facing the inside of the shower. Can this be installed on a tub so that it is taller than the 58". The bathroom has 10 ft ceilings and it needs to be taller than the regular doors.

Will these shower doors work with a sterling 30"x60"shower pad #72171710-10 left handed drain

For the 56-60" Duet Plus, 2" of flat threshold space is required to be able to install the bottom rail. This model does not require you to drill into the threshold. Please discuss this information with your contractor so they can compare the specifications of the shower door with the specifications of the shower base.
