I think the bags of this I bought are contaminated with herbicides!

I had the same issue this year (2020)! I wrote to the company (Garick-- Nature's Helper) and they acknowledged that it was likely their product that poisoned my garden. How long was it before you were able to use the soil again? From what I've read herbicides can take 3-4 years to clear out of the soil. Write to them and complain!! This should not be a repeat problem!

Hi Sonny, it looks like this 1 cu. ft. Premium Mushroom Compost is a store exclusive item and only able to be bought in a Home Depot store. Unfortunately we do not sell it with online stock for purchase. If you are unable to see the store inventory or price it is most likely either not a stocked item in your area or no longer available for purchase from Homedepot.com. Gardeners beware! This product contaminated my garden! Every plant I used it on suffered severe herbicide damage. My tomato plants are all twisted and mangled. It could take years for those herbicides to work their way out of the soil. It truly has destroyed my garden. I wrote to the manufacturer Garick and they agreed that the damage was likely caused by their product and said they would look in to which facility is producing the contaminated compost. I've used their Nature's Helper mushroom compost and their Moo-nure happily in the past and I'm sure they will fix their issues but I wouldn't want anyone else to poison their garden! DO NOT BUY this product!!
