The DIG Adjustable-Flow Multi-Stream Dripper offers controlled watering feature to accommodate a variety of different plants within your system. Drip emitter watering radius is adjustable from a gentle stream pattern to drip and to off. As your plants grow the flow can be increased as they require more water to flourish.

Hi Jayy- Each step or "click" you feel when you turn the top represents an approximate change of about one gallon per hour up or down. Turn to the right to lower the flow, left to increase. We have a nice chart that shows the flow rates on our website, please see this link to check it out... https://www.digcorp.com/professional-irrigation-products/180-and-the-360-adjustable-drip-emitters/ Thank you for your interest in DIG irrigation products!
Hi Gardenmama: The short answer is No- this one (adjustable dripper on barb) is for direct connection to the 1/2" poly tubing. The one to use for 1/4" tubing is the BA1B (adjustable dripper on spike.) which connects to the end of 1/4" microtubing. Thank you for your interest in DIG irrigation products,
These 360-degree adjustable drippers on barb are rated for UV exposure and can last many years in the elements and direct sunlight and will not rot or deteriorate after one year.
the product inlet is 1/4" barb to fit 1/4" microtubing
I'm sorry I don't know what micro tubing is. It will insert in the end of the 1/4 inch tubing. Or, you can poke it into the 1/2 inch tubing - spacing it down the side.
We do not recommend the B25B be installed underground as it will clog up over time. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our technical service/product support team at 1-800-322-9146.
We use this above ground. If installed underground, dirt may get in and cause it to clog
No!
I think dirt would clog the sprayer holes.
Unfortunately not, can only lower the drip rate but it will always have flow.
Yes, if turned all the way (clockwise).
Yes. You can completely shut off water to an individual dripper (0-14gph)
If you rotate the adjustment cap all the way clockwise the adjustable drip emitter will close. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our technical service/product support team at 1-800-322-9146.
I believe with low pressure, 25-35 lbs, yes it will completely turn off.
Yes
You might consider using the 1/4" soaker hose for that area instead, it is the fuzzy looking, porous 1/4" tubing by Raindrip, and use a barbed connector to install off the main 1/2" dripline. Or use their blue, full circle fan spray, not adjustable.
To get an equal distribution of water from all of the heads in a 360 degree pattern presumes that there is equal pressure applied uniformly to all openings in all heads. Since that won't be the case, I am not sure you can achieve a 360 degree pattern on all heads with the number of heads you have inserted into the pipe. Also, just so you know, due to vibration, the heads will slightly adjust themselves over time and may even rotate to a much lower delivery setting, and so should be checked every so often. The vibration & pressure will blow the heads off too if inserted loosely. So, I am not sure there is a fix to your problem, except potentially a different approach to the irrigation delivery you are trying to achieve. I would explore dripper hoses or high pressure micro spray heads.
From my research and short personal experience, I put my drippers on a closed loop so pressure is equalized along the entire loop. I have done this with 1/2" poly - 25" on long sides and 14" on short sides (long rectangle) connected to 3/4" main line.
At 25 psi you should be able to run a max of 15 adjustable drip emitters on your ½” poly line at one time. If you are having to rotate the adj. drippers all the way open this could indicate too many emitters on your ½” poly tubing or pressures lower than 25 psi. If you have any additional questions or need more troubleshooting assistance, please feel free to contact our technical service/product support team at 1-800-322-9146.
Our adjustable dripper is not designed to be used inverted. They can be installed overhead just be aware they do not have an anti-leak device so when your irrigation system turns off all water in your supply line will continue to drip out of the emitters.
