About This Product
SharkBite PEX tubing is cross-linked polyethylene tubing for a wide range of residential and commercial plumbing applications. PEX Pipe is durable, flexible and corrosion resistant. Manufactured without an oxygen barrier for potable water systems (available in white, blue, and red). A repeating SharkBite imprint patterns provides a visual aid to determine if the tube has been inserted all the way into the SharkBite Push-to-Connect Fitting. This feature only works if the tubing is cut between the SharkBite imprint patterns. In addition to Potable Water Supply SharkBite PEX meets UL Standard for Plastic Piping in Fire Systems.

Be sure to check with local, city or state codes to see if the pipe needs to have sleeves or any type of protective burial for your area. PEX pipe can be used as a service line based on its corrosion resistance to soil and water, its long life, and its oxidative resistance. The approximate diameter of a 500-foot roll of 1" PEX-B can vary slightly ~36 to 40 inches (3 to 3.5 feet).
Is this 1" OD and 0.885 ID as listed? Could somebody verify that?

Coil Blue PEX-B Pipe can be connected to the following pipes PEX (ASTM F876, CSA B137.5) Copper (ASTM B 88) CPVC (ASTM D 2846, CSA B137.6) PE-RT (ASTM F 2769) HDPE (SDR-9 ASTM D2737). If your black water pipe is one of the following pipes then you could use a SharkBite fitting to connect the SharkBite PEX pipe.
