Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. (ADS) 4 in. x 50 ft. Singlewall Solid Drain Pipe provides superior strength while its high density polyethylene (HDPE) construction allows the corrugated pipe to be a flexible, light weight solution for your outdoor drainage project. The pipe can be connected using either a variety of 4 in. singlewall fittings including tees, wyes, elbows, or couplers. Solid, or non-perforated, singlewall pipe is an ideal choice for moving water away from a collection point such as a catch basin, downspout, or sump pump outlet.

I am confused about which schedule 40 pipe adapter to use with this (RELN 000226 or 000225). My plan is to install a 4x4 PVC Saddle Tee onto a 4" SCH40 Series Coextruded Cellular Core underground pipe. I need to then attach this pipe to the saddle.

How does one make connections with this pipe that don’t leak or come apart. Is there a specific glue or tape or something to use?
I use roofing tar on the inside & tile tape on the outside. There's no guarantee of no leaking, though. If roots grow in they won't likely grow inside the pipe because there's nothing but air therein if the slope is maintained during installation.
