Are the outlet threads 1/2”
Yes, after removing the slip joint nut you're left with a 1/2" IPS threaded outlet, which accommodates flexible supply lines with a 1/2" FIP inlet.
What is the 7/16 in. (in the description) referring to?
The water stop will come with two brass washers. One is for 1/2" OD tube compression and one is for 7/16" OD tube compression. So that would be a 7/16" OD compression for 7/16" OD copper tube. If you need a further explanation please contact customer service at 877-272-7755. Thanks
